I recently reached level 30 with my sorc leveling as fire. If I respec into Frozen Orb right away will my frozen orb hit hard enough? Or should I wait til a higher level? Thanks for any advice.

Why do you need to respec at 30?
You could just start investing hard points at level 30.
This is what I did.
1 point into pre-request skill and one-point-wounder skill. Save all other skill points until level 18.
At level 18, starting to level up firewall until level 29.
At level 30, 1 point into Orb, Cold mastery and Fire mastery,
Starting level 31, 1 point into the orb, 1 point into Cold mastery and 1 point into Fire mastery.
Continous until all the save points have been used up.
Then max up Orb 1st. Follow by level Cold mastery to -100% resist
Then go back and max out the firewall.
I am currently at level 66 and did not need to use the respec at all. I am currently buffing my firewall damage by increasing Fire mastery or buffing Orb damage by increasing ice bolt level.
