Good day. I bougt classic Lod 3 weeks ago and saw the announsment of the new season of Ressurected. So. Does anybody could shere the information about the date of start of new season in classic Diablo 2 Lod? Will it be in a few days, or I’ve got a month till this season end? Have a nice day!

The date for the ladder reset hasn’t been announced yet… but it should be in June.

I’d say you still have a few weeks before the ladder reset.

For D2/LOD, two resets per year. Roughly, between the 7th to 22nd of June and December. You should see announcements on these boards 2-10 days before a reset happens.
D2 Resurrected (D2R) just reset, and not yet any defined reset schedule. How long each season has lasted varied wildly.
D2R and some other games from Blizzard do go “on sale” several times per year. It may happen for US Memorial Day (27 May 2024) or it could be some time around July 4. On sale, prices from Blizzard on-line have been discounted 67%, so you could get D2R for less than US $15, complete.

Guessing Thursday 20th June 2024 5pm Pacific Standard Time (1 a.m Friday 21st in U.K.) Servers down from about 1pm PST (9 p.m. in the U.K.) for 3-4 hours.
Announcement Tuesday or Wednesday before in this forum.

… and the way they are culling accounts and characters at the moment (lost five toons recently I forgot to perm) I would make sure any characters you want to keep are refreshed before the reset. Last December I lost a few mule accounts like this.

If someone makes a character with one of your expired character names, it’ll delete your character.

5 pm PST. 14th June. Next Friday
I was so close to make first Enigma online in this season. That was one of the goals I was set up for myself. The rest task are accomplished. Thanks to all the commentators for the information!

Blizzard does not understand time zones… they never have. The current time zone for Irvine, CA, USA is PDT (equivalent to summer time in the UK), not PST. Blizzard issues with time zones is an on-going joke on the D3 forums for Europe… although it usually happens when they confuse CET and CEST.
Also, note that the service interruption will start at 1:00 PM (PST or PDT – who knows)… and hopefully end by 5:00 PM. If it is indeed PDT as it should be, the service interruption will start at 9:00 PM BST in the UK. Plan accordingly.

Haha! Blizzard is not alone in not understanding the difference between Standard Time and Daylight Saving Time. I see it in a lot of places… and yes, it is Daylight Saving not Daylight Savings. It’s not a bank account.

I’ve done it. All the goals achieved:
- Full set Tal Rasha on sorc online (some necro presented it)
- First Chains of honor on merc online (made it)
- First Ber dropped online
- Nice trades and community
- First Jah dropped today
- First Enigma online and before reset
- I bought a game 10th of May
- I played not a whole days and weeks
- So much fun!)
