Excited to come back and play a real “Diablo” game.
Miss the itemization progression and difficulty. (more difficulyt than D4 tier 100 imo)

D2R master race.
Blizz either never knows ahead of time when they will reset each ladder or they just never tell us until last minute. Either way, none of the ladders have been for the same length, have had very different transition periods between end of ladder and start of next ladder and inconsistent with PTRs…
With D4 being their focus, hard to really say if we are on backburner for a while so at this point anywhere between another 1-3 months…

They sound like they want ladders to be more consistent going forward, so my guess is ~early September.
Problem is, D2R devs have to work at D4 now.

As long as we don’t get more storage and/or loot filter i don’t really care about a ladder reset lol.

D2R is fundamentally a better game than D4, D4 has great potential to be a great game but the core game mechanics on how the items are simply give a lackluster experience.
D4 is missing the item chase that D2 has. D2R has sets, many more unique items, crafted items, runewords, runeword bases, magical items, charms, runes, etc.
In contrast, D4 has legendry and rare. Normal and magical items are essentially worthless in D4.
D4 isn’t all bad but it is somewhat lacking on what it needs to be a full game.
Sigil/map concept is good but monster level scaling leaves players feeling that character regression makes players weaker at the higher level instead of a sense of accomplishment.
They’re almost certainly completely separate teams dude…have you ever worked in software?
