For real…
What build would really make use of those charms ?
Both of these seems completely useless, compared to the elemental ones.
The physical one ?
The builds I can think of can do much better than trying to kill 95% resistant enemy with physical attacks, while sacrificing 10 - 30% DR.
Amp/decre will now probably also have back the 1/5 penalty with the today’s change, so this won’t make much difference either.
Barbs will still kill physical immunes with berserk much faster than trying to bring them down with 95% res, or even with the decre proc from merc, which will only lower it by another 10 %, or waiting for lucky amp proc for -20% res.
Physical bowas will still kill immunes with magic arrow faster.
Wind druids will kill physical immunes with hurricane/infi so fast that the 5% nado damage will make zero difference.
Maybe some other builds I’m missing out that can make some big use of this charm ?
The magic one ? There are so few magic immunes that it doesn’t even make sense.
Hammers with 5% damage ? Ok, maybe that can do something on the baal second wave, but not a big difference, doubt it is worth having negative magic resist for this. Maybe as a situational swap item in stash/cube.
Bone necro is more a PvP character and in PvM he can kill the few magic immunes with merc + CE very easily.
Any other build here ?
The poison charm is also pretty bad… poison necro can already deal with the few unbreakable poison immunes pretty easily with CE.
Other builds ? Rabies druid for PvM? Not sure they will get enough - enemy psn res to be effective with the charm, as the only stuff giving decent - res are necro wand and necro head with a set bonus… Maybe with a lot of 5/5 facets socketed everywhere, that can get up to -85 in the extreme case i think… that could somehow work. Ok, that’s ONE build that could possibly get use of this charm.
