This season I have only 1 thing in mind which is to PK every mosaic player I come across. Something about killing cowardly players who deserve it just feels cathartic. From what I’ve read its not that bad, you have to wait out their charges and then go in. But what about head on? Is there anyway to survive their finisher or is it just too much? I would like to play a barb if possible but Im open to other options. I was thinking maybe GA with max light sorb and SS with max block? Im all ears.

I mean, if you wanted to try to pk them, I would assume you need defense against probably all 3 elements.
Paladin using a Guardian Angel will net you 90 all res. You then can wear a Thundergod’s Vigor belt for 95% res + absorb. From here, you can leverage your resistance aura’s to passively increase your others to 95%. You can choose a Rising Sun amulet to absorb fire, raven frost to help cold, Blackoak Shield for cold absorb. But to be honest, you won’t have much to use for an actual build. I would think maybe Charge/smite with grief? I used to love absorbing trappers way back in the day with my avenger when I didn’t want to be GM, or when pubs got out of hand.
I see yeah that makes sense. Where does the majority of the damage come from? light? Do I not need to worry about the physical aspect as much?
You need enigma to catch up with them.
Lightning sorb is a must have. So TG and whisp and raven are set. It’s not a PvP scenario like in duel games, so she won’t run out of mobs to keep the stacks going. You don’t want to bring a merc, as she will just stack from him. They don’t have much -res so you don’t have to overstack more than griffons -25, but make sure to kill that merc of hers.
A good mosaic sin will probably just keep grinding and watch you die in the aoe
Fire sorc might be a good choice to hunt them
I need something that can just get in and kill her, dont wanna blast her for 5 min just for her to rejuv or take tp. I want something to catch her unaware but I can see how being out of her range might be a must. Maybe a ww barb with widowmaker?
She has clawblock + fade, so lots of free DR and res.
You probably won’t 1 shot her.
Warp on top of them as a Hammerdin and hope to blitz them?
Hammers do Magic damage, so Fade won’t help (other than innate monster magic resistance - and a very few and relatively obscure items? - AFAIK there’s no way to alter MR, only MDR can lower the damage and I doubt she’s got enough of that stacked vis-a-vis the damage hammers do …).
Unless hammer survivability has gone way up since the last time I ever actively did PvP (other than getting PKed by a Sorc in a Chaos game a couple weeks ago, the last time I PvP’d was back in the 1.10-1.11 LoD days), that tends to settle matters pretty quickly if you pull it off.
(Now if you mess it up, you are likely very very dead, like the time this one Hammerdin back in said LoD days started going hostile on and messing with one of my lowbies in a game so I came back with my OWN Hammerdin and went out into the Blood Moor and started spinning hammers in a “you wanna mess?” way … The dude proceeded to try to Enigma teleport onto me to do the above, only to misalign himself and instantly eat several of my hammers and die. Oh, and called me - who was using crappy found gear, my highest value equipped item was literally a 102 def Shako - a noob afterwards.

Cold Sorc also seems like an option. Ranged, built in Tele (which would leave room for Guardian Angel), and CM would decimate their cold res which would never be overstacked (if they even bother maxing it).

i will do the mature thing, and move on. i had a GREAT time with diablo 2. but i’m afraid the relationship is over.

Thats a good point on the GA.
Strafe with poison charms. Tap them to 1hp from across the map, let the trash finish them. Bonus points if it’s hc.
