What you can find if you clear whole game

Hey, I have been doing experiment on single player. I am doing grail there and since i was starting new character, i was curious what all I can find in one playthrough. No repeating content with exception of going few location again as i had to stop playing.

I was playing Barbarian and I cleared Normal, Nightmare and Hell, all locations, all monsters, clicked all objects. I did everything. I was using Finf item skill from moment i had acess to it and I used it on every monster I could. I already had like 150% MF on normal and finished Hell with 358% MF but sometimes I had lower when I had to switch gear.

Now I want to show you all I found, I listed all Sets, unique items, runes and better charms, jewels, socketed, white/, magic and rare items.

EDIT: I forgot mention it was on single player. Normal done on /players 8 and switch to /players 3 in act 5. Nightmare dont on /players 3 and switched to /players 1 from ACT IV. Hell was done on /players 1.

a lot if he did every single areas…i done that once years back…was like 8 hours for all of it(on hell difficulty alone)…as a Sorc

unsure if he just focused the elite packs or if he also killed non-elite as well
in my case was all of it(even non-elites)…he,s definetly gonna provide the specifics i’am sure :P…norm and nm prob went a lot faster

as a Barb that probably took him 12 hours just for hell(especially using item find on all corpses lol)

I didnt count but A LOT. It was few days of nonstop playing :smiley:

It takes actualy a long time if you clear everything.

I killed completely everything.

I believe some acts took even several hours even on Nightmare or normal.

Also I used merc to kill majority of monsters so that addded a lot of time too.

That’s… a lot of work cataloging all this! I may be a little too sceptical by nature, but this sounds like a lot of work for just a small experiment.
I mean the outcome certainly doesn’t seem all that surprising, so it seems reasonable. But… why? :sweat_smile:

I am doing Item find tournament with few people as we do it every year. Part of it is writing down info into excel sheet to calculate points, I had most of it already filled and just copied.

I like to collect various informations in games. And there are some people over here who are spreading some weird info how is MF broken. So I thought I will post datat I have, because why not :slight_smile:

It’s only a useful comparison for another barb using FI on every single mob. Anyone not a barb should expect about 30% less loot. Anyone using a barb but only using FI on boss/champ groups, which is sensible given time efficiency, should expect about 10% less loot.

I honestly got majority of items before FI. Only few from FI.

If that is the case, it doesn’t speak well of the time efficiency of using FI. If you really did FI every single mob, that is a huge time sink. To not get much out of it isn’t an endorsement of the skill. Or at least of using it that way. On my barb I only use it on boss/champ groups.

Did you just put 1 point into it or did you build up the skill?

I have 13 points in it and was using it with double spirit and later with spirit+alibaba. I didnt make statistic what exactly I got with it. It was just my feeling that majority was from normal drops, but I certainly got plenty of good stuff from FI too. I should not probably say it tho.

The jury is still out on FI efficiency for me. I got it on my barb after a respec 2 weeks ago. Put 1 point in + 6 from gear. Have mainly been farming XP in chaos sanctuary since then. Only use it on boss/champ groups except sometimes it gets used on regular mobs when they’re all in the same corpse pile. Anyway, on my 3rd or 4th run, Infector of Souls horked up a Shako. So I was pretty jazzed up about FI then. But in the 2 weeks since, I’ve gotten nada. A few extra piles of gold, couple gems, few low lvl runes is all.

SP is a hack fest and Hero Editor is the way to get all your gear etc.

I have always wanted to do this in hell for one complete game, no log offs, so wherever I go at any point the world belongs just to me… A complete dream would be online, so I could invite friends and challenge them to find an enemy that I may have missed.

But grats on the completion! I’m honestly not surprised at the amount of cathan’s and sigons.

That’s a great experiment.

It was nice to see that you came out with several really good/end build items in the mix of levelling gear and general trash. Oculus, Bartucs, Homunculus, Eaglehorn, Andy, Ali Baba, G Face etc.

You could gear pretty much any class with a combination of the items you got.

I found suprising amount of bows lol, too bad i was not bowazon.

I was most happy about eth collossus voulge with 4 sockets and eth 4 socket small crescent. I am missing one um to make oath in it. Oh and the andariel visage, i found it from elite stygian doll in durance of hate. Was nice because i almost died there. So atleast i had some reward. And of course alibaba is great too.

Now i run lower kurast chests and pindleskin to get some runes and equip.
