Remove damage immunities from the game.

Introduce more cube recipes such as,

  • breaking down gems to lower quality
  • upgrading rare items to unique/set
  • convert set item
  • salvage unique/set items to a material for the upgrade/convert recipes

Make magic find work in a group, no longer requiring killing blow.

Give classic D2R a shared stash

Move Cain next to stash in Act 5 where he belongs.

A simple loot filter, allowing hiding of item labels for the most common items only… Mana/Health potions by grade, throwing potions, scrolls, keys, bolts/arrows, mainly just to help clean up the sometimes overwhelming screen full of item labels. I do not want an advanced loot filter that would allow hiding (or highlighting) specific items based on socket counts or other item stats. Any items of interest would still need to be picked up and examined.

Do something to at least tone down the screen puke from Mosaic.

The ability to refresh vendor items. (Cooldown of 5-10 seconds, or roughly how long it would normally take to scan the items for what you’re looking for, go to a waypoint/out of town and come back to refresh. Only possible when you’re the only one in the game.)

I’m worried about bots destroying the game’s economy in 2 days and generating mosaic errors, which is very unfair, given its low rune cost. And my friend is worried about Cain’s position, lol. :rofl:

Instead of asking for more new uniques in the game, I would give rares (the yellow items) a boost. They should have a chance, no matter how small, to be just as good as uniques or even rune words. Particularly, they would receive an up to dmg output.

Other than that, I always wish you could disassemble items into their affixes and craft your own items.

Honestly, the best melee weapon in the game(better than Grief) is a rare.

Only in pvp. PvM is still ruled by rune words

I’d increase the number of tabs offline. For example, having 10 shared tabs, and 10 personal tabs per character.

And I’d have Mosaic spawn with :
100% chance to keep [random charging strike] charges on finishing move.
Finishing moves trigger charges only on their first hit.

It would replace the current 50% chance to keep charges on hit. The goal is to reduce the amount of effects, so I wouldn’t care if its damage was increased in some manner to compensate (and I also wouldn’t care if it wasn’t). Hell, I wouldn’t even mind using one copy on my assassin in order to combine a second charge type to its Phenix Strike if they made that change.

Bots will never die. For Mosaic, just delete a line in the code and the problem solved. I know, will never happen.
Also, I thought we are talking about gameplay changes.

Moving Cain would be the one thing I’d really like to see, it costs time running between stash and cain, he’s been in the perfect postion and over many runs it saves some time. Nothing trivial or gamechanging but they shouldn’t have moved him at all.

And as for bots, obviously everybody except cc warriors and jsp abuser want to get rid of em, that why I stick to SP meanwhile. Servers are crap and everything costs fg lol

most important changes in order or importance

  1. FIX CHAT LOBBY AND ALLOW US AN OFFLINE BLOCK LIST AND MESSAGE FILTER
  2. loot filter like path of diablo, so i can see the damn items
  3. move mosaic to NL only, or DRASTICALLY nerf it by changing the + element to like -45% elements per
  4. added inventory space that charms don’t work in so i can pick up items
    5 move cain back in act 5
  5. add chat channels and stop forcing to join the main on one entrance

balance changes ( ignoring the emergency that is removing/ nerfing mosaic

  1. Cap rabies duration at 4 seconds and add a dire wolf synergy
  2. rework spirit of the barbs into a - physical and poison resist conviction aura ( the two elements conviction doesnt hit)
  3. remove the fear form grim ward, just keep the slow
  4. undo the nerf ( bugfix) to firewall stacking, you finally made it and blaze not worthless in season 1…
  5. let shapeshift forms pick the faster ias between the current formula and the original LOD forumla , so wolfbarb and bear dont get hit so hard ( you had this feature on ptr)
  6. let indestructible items spawn ethereal

Delete Mosaic and Metamorphosis!!!

Increase dmg for exc/elite weapons by ~300%

Add more max sox for magic and rares

Add more rdm spawned skills to Enigma - Amp, Revive, Conv, Masteries and etc

Make charged skills as oskills

Make all Chance to Cast skills as fully synergized or increase lvl for these skills by ~3x

Add droppable Skill Books with 90 limit per char

% Stamina adds also % FRW

  • high end runewords for orbs, necro heads, item types which lack runewords
  • fix plethora of bugs which lead to game server crash
  • monster difficulty slider 1-8; monsters will not drop below slider value, and will not exceed 8
  • ban bots more agressively
  • rmt websites in game name should be cleansed immediately with bans

There’s more, but these are the no-brainers.

no on this one but the others aren’t that bad

all of your cube formulas are a bit questionable
and asking blizzard for new runewords is a bad idea
if mosaic doesn’t prove that to you i don’t know what will

i cant believe i missed splitting up the realms again… though good catch, that’s a must!
keep those botters in asia

IMO Mosaic should just be deleted completely. The rune rarity to power level ratio of the new runewords must not exceed that of Spirit, and perhaps be even lower. Mosaic is a blight and was an obvious mistake, but if they take accountability by removing it maybe we could have cool things that aren’t screen cancer.

If D2R were to get new content then that’s how I see it:

  • currency tab
  • buff melee, nerf p8 builds
  • remove immunities from white mobs
  • nerf Teleport
  • buff uniques or nerf runewords
  • new endgame mode instead of Nightmare and Hell to not replay same acts multiple times

Path of Exile or some D2 mods could be inspirations for evolving Diablo 2 but then it would prove even more that it’s the best Diablo game and 3/4/Immortal failed.

All these should be tested on PTR to see which would be liked by playerbase and all feedback should be taken into consideration. Don’t rush things to live server like Sunder Charms, Mosaic etc.

I would make some skills better. Like Arctic Blast.
