So you’re suggesting that ONLY runemaster can be made into a rune word? wouldn’t it make more sense to just add more affixes to the base unique itself like +20%ias for example? Or 20%Deadly strike? Or both? Dual leech? Attack rating? Instead of trying to force a weird unique/runeword hybrid abomination?
Regardless of the name “Runemaster” doesn’t mean that your idea is a good one or should be automatically considered a good one when there are plenty of other alternatives on the table.
Also just wondering why you think adding extra affixes isn’t an idea for you? Yet you’re willing to break the game because of a unique item’s name.
It’s about thinking there are flaws in a proposed idea and instead of being a smart human being and try to fix/improve the proposed idea, some angry low energy basement nostalgic dwellers just bash and discredit the whole concept

I just don’t think it’s a good one since this topic is about improving runemaster through mechanics and based on the theme/flavour of the item
Bland affixes have nothing to do with Unique mechanic and the lore of the item
If you go down that road, runemaster should have the stats of all runes combined and nothing else. But it would still suck
Why invest time to fix stupid ideas nobody needs? Did it ever come to your mind, that people just don’t want to fix your stupid ideas, because they just don’t like your ideas?

Would be a better idea to have all rune affix values double when added to it. That won’t happen, but it’s a more reasonable approach than suggesting oath can be made into it with a -50% of its value.
