we all know the cookie cutter builds. but a lot of times those are boring, even though they are efficient. what other builds do you have fun with that may not be considered “optimal” for stuff like hell farming or UBERS?
i love pheonix strike dual claw assassin. nowhere near as fast as a blizz sorc or hammerdin for farming, but so much fun.
i made a new pally and i’m trying out a build based around charge. it’s hilarious to zip around so fast my framerate hitches because i’m zoomin along with over 20 points in vigor and hit the charge button.
I pushed a zeal shockadin with a Crescent Moon phase blade+random junk gear up to Act 3 Hell, where I hit a brick wall of lighting immunes. Had fun getting there though. Zappity zap, Zeal Slap.
Idk that either are my favorite or anything, but I recently made a pure leap attack barb, and a pure FotH paladin. They both pretty much suck but they’re also pretty awesome too
my main is an orb/hydra sorc. it’s awesome. i can’t aim meteor with a controller, and firewall is even harder to manage. with hydra i can teleport in, pop a hydra, pop back around the corner, and damage is still being done.
When my brother and I played the original version I had a Necro with almost all skill points into corpse explosion. He played a Barbarian. He would run into a room and kill one enemy and then I could corpse explosion the entire room with two or three casts. Could never do that solo because that Necro was a marshmallow but all I needed was one corpse since the area damage span was most of the screen.
Great fun.
