What is wrong with the entitled?

I’ve been having a blast the last 2 weeks remembering why I loved D2, I’ve had absolutely no issue at all with the game running and I’m not sad I have to wait 5mins now for a queue.

I just don’t understand the amount of HATE this forum is spewing out, it’s such a horrible negative place. I’m 45 years old and I know we’re living in a time where games get released too early and aren’t up to par, but I spent $60 Aus and I’ve gotten exactly what I wanted.

I’m confident the bugs n such will get patched but I can’t understand the sea of hate that gets thrown around…. Maybe it’s my age and I’m patient, and just grew up in a different time.

Even I was a Dev working on this game, I’d hate to come here n read the hurtful stuff thus written here by entitled idiots. Sad times we live in :frowning:

I don’t know man maybe issue is that online is unplayable since entire week and it got even worse with endless queues. Even if I get past it then game crashes and back to queue again.

There are some things about how it has been released that tick me off.

BUT… I think people that are going to try and get refunds or chargebacks or whatever else should say their piece and move the hell on with their life.

I love Diablo games, but they are games. There are thousands of others out there I can play, and I have enough real problems to worry about.

Get your refund, get your chargeback, or don’t. Money is tight here, but ultimately it’s $40 and life goes on.

I have a hard time believing that. Everytime I have queued I get assigned my queue number and ten minutes later it is still at the same number. Usually in the hundreds. Why is your client special?

the larger the queue number the slower it refreshes, as stated on the patch notes

it’s a playable games with some servers problem.
Well worth 40$…
You can get a lot worse value for money with many things in life.
Just be patient and play other games in the mean time.

Que is annoying but hopefully very temporary. Meanwhile since patch if play on console you have been locked out of playing entirely since you don’t have a qua system yet. So I would say a full week pf crashes followed by a patch that only allows pc players to play is good reason to be upset. Me personally have it on console and PC so doesnt 100% effect me. But for some this game has been unplayable for newly two weeks with no exact eta on a fix.

Eaxactly Elen!.. I mean I spend my time between D2R n PC building Simulator and AC Valhalla, not to mention the missus n I play Roblox, she’s obsessed with a game called islands on there and has a great eceonmy going, good for her!. For a casual D2R player, it just upsets me to see the negative on these forums when I think the Devs have done an oustanding job!.. just let them work and polish it before HATEing ffs. :frowning:

Well you’re lucky if you have to wait 5 mins for a queue, in general most ppl have to wait for 20-40 mins. And further more the game in its current state is too unstable to have a queue system, its crashes way too often, which in return caused a lot of ppl to have very limited play windows.

When in come to the “entitled”, i’m entitled to a working, stable product as a customer who paid form said product. I just don’t get why there’s ppl like you that will put up with this kind of bs. Would you have the same view if you bought a electric drill or other tool and it would work 40% of the time at best, no you would go and either ask for a refund or a new tool.

And least has an unhappy customer who didn’t receive the product advertised, I should be “entitled” to a refund and be able to move on.

Also, its about not letting them get away with bs like that, its way too common now a days for gaming companies to release broken games and not take responsibility for there miss steps. If we do like you and do nothing it will only get worse.

Because you, luckly and completely out of randomness, is having a good time everyone else who is not is entitled? People who were locked out of the game for a week are entitled because they wanna play the game the bought? You sound just like the kind of person that on a single crash would punch their keyboard and come here complain to death.

You and your wife sound just like. My wife plays WoW, I play Roblox with the kids and D2R and while I’d love to get into the game the second I log in I can easily just go make a coffee and watch some YouTube while waiting.

In my humble opinion being 33 and a long term fan of Blizzard, it has been the reaction to the community feedback on behalf of the customer support and the company. They chose to censor the old forums “for legal purposes” and they haven’t really been doing that great in terms of generating new content. The Blizzard North was bought out years ago, and ever since their has been mostly negative news articles about the company besides a few title releases that it seems like most customers are unhappy with.

Have you noticed the sheer amount of recycling of content that has been done since the company was taken over? Vanilla wow, D2R, Warcraft remastered… I mean… Then they focus on Call Of Duty i’m sure since that’s Activisions holy grail, which is also the same exact platform with new skins every single new title launch, essentially recycling content.

It wasn’t until PUBG came out with last man standing did they come out with a new game mode for COD since the zombies…

This is one of the largest game developers in the world. You don’t think it’s a good thing to hold them to high standards and expectations?

So you call queue #202 and position unchanged in 20min a “5 min wait”? I dont blame it if this is a free game, I didnt meant to pay for the waiting when it takes hours

Comparing a game title by one of the worlds largest and most profitable game companies not working and allowing a customer to play is like comparing one of the largest and most profitable car producers selling a car to someone and not having the car start, or having failures right after you drive off the lot. What kind of sense does that make? You would be happy?

if it was only 5 minutes queue that would be great. Now you need to ask yourself why you are sticking up for such shady business practices without recieving a single dime?
