I haven’t played d2r because I was waiting for 2.4. and then my computer died. I should get my computer back tomorrow so I’ll finally be able to play. I was thinking about physical spearazon. What are some of your thoughts on the new 2.4 builds?
Orb Hydra is great earlier on with budget gear and even better with great gear until end game comes around

Already strong classes got stronger (Pal/Sorc). Zon got a “better” bow option although zappy zaps is still op. Every other class/build seems meh at best.
I’m currently experiencing the god awful phoenix strike sin build that, despite all of the 2.4 ptr feedback, still feels underwhelming and clunky.
You aren’t missing anything by not playing 2.4. Unless you are a pal or sorc.

Yes physical Spearzon is viable. But I would not recomend leveling whit it. My favourite rn is fire Druid.
You’re a poser. You didn’t want to play Zons until they got a big buff…stay away from zons.
Summon druid (which needs a bit more buffing IMHO)

I play similar setup, but Nova in place of orb.
How does that work at lower level, lower gear allowing things to get so close. If they do…
Nova has a big S radius.
In any case, I will be swapping to Hydra /Frozen Orb. At least while leveling & before I can get infinity. Its safer and less mana intensive.
Then I revert to pure Nova.

What is your skill allocation?
How does nova work vs say Meph since you cant kite him
I use Hydra. Hydra is main skill. Nova is sec.
Idea is dump all Hydra sync, fire mastery, Hydra, & Max Nova, then split between light mastery & Static. I need to check the ideal allocation to see how to get best value.
Its importnat to note (not forget) that Sync work only for hard point, so puttiung hard point to sync often return more value than mastery if you have a lot of +skill gears & charms.

Made a singer barb as start to farm gear. Dear lord, a sorc with 30 skill points is stronger than a singer with 80……
