For me, I always wanted to play a Magic Arrow amazon using a valkyrie as a meatshield/extra damage. I don’t really care about efficiency or speed. For some reason, this type of playstyle appeals to me.
I do wish they one day add more item slots to mercenaries. After playing PD2 mod (They have full items on mercenaries), it doesn’t really make them as overpowered as you would think. And it does require effort to get expensive items on them. It just feels fun to be able to customize your mercenary with gear, especially while leveling from normal to nightmare.

Looks like I’m going to try a FoH Pally. That seems to be the best Chaos runner now.

Nothing. Not enough slots to bother with it. Seeing as all the ladder stuff just gets added into non ladder in a few months anyway according to their new logic… I’ll just wait and save myself the effort.
Even then there isn’t any exciting reason to do it as the new runewords range from crap, to slightly better than mediocre. I’d rather just keep collecting runes than bother with Diablo 2 JSP Edition (ladder.)

Perhaps an auradin, thorn pally or fohdin.
Or a summon druid.
Or a Bowdon of some variety.
Or a Novorb sorc.

Man, I dunno. There’s so many good looking changes for new builds. I’m probably leaning towards some time of druid, spearzon, or barb.

But NL is so easy, you can just trade for all the worthless stuff in 5 minutes, no one wants anything, the values of everything are zero so everything you find is worthless.

Starting with a javzon to farm cows, then going to try bowzon, I already have a physical, so I’ll try a fire/ice build. Or maybe jav/bow hybrid?
If you don’t roll a sorc to start with then your gonna be left behind.
