I saw a recent llama video about fixing mosaic, so I had to click.
Someone in the comments made an interesting suggestion of having only the first kick in a “set” of kicks proc the finishing move, instead of all kicks.
Interested in what the community here thinks of that.
they could just reverse dragon talon to it’s old form, when it only kicked once to release charges.
if you want to release multiple charges you still have dragon claw which hits twice => releases 2 charges.

the same way you gain 100% chance to not consume charges
you should lose some % chance to activate same charges
while wearing mosaic ofc
something like…
+50% chance for finishing moves to not consume charges
When a finisher is executed this way,
it now refreshes the expiration timer of the stack
-45% chance for finishing moves to activate/release charges
+2 to Martial Arts (Assassin only)

i dont think a 90% nerf will kill saicsin
We only need one fix regarding Mosaic. Remove it entirely and burn the code.

Mosaic power doesn’t affect me in the slightest. At players 8 it is around the same speed as other s++builds like nova sorc, hammerdin, javazon. Who cares about player 2048 it doesn’t exist in game.
The problem with mosaic is that is unplayable with the amount of visual effects.
So the build is dead in my eyes will not play that eyes destroyer build.
Imo Tele is more OP than Mosaik ever be.
There is still HDin which is half Mosaik and no1 cry.

Mosaic is OP. However is it really different in power from an LF Javazon or a Hammerdin? I think it is fine to have one overpowered build per class. No one says you have to play it.
However I would like to see the ‘issues’ with the visual clutter of mosaic addressed. To me that would mean cut the screen clutter by half for all of the effects. Also fix the bug where if you use fire, sometimes the game crashes. Fix the video card melting itself down with Mosaic if the above changes do not fix that. And tone down the intensity of the blinding white light, I should not have to wear sunglasses when playing mosaic.
That is all I think Mosaic needs

Just limit each Mosaic claw per one skill: eg Phoenix Strike doesnt consume charges + auto recharge so 2 skills max w/o consumption.
In normal MA: all Kicks consume only last charges and charges last +15secs per additional charge.
Fixed.
you’re right, in the past 20+ years, noone whatsoever has ever asked for a HDin nerf.

My fix for Mosaic was to revert how things were back in the old days. Assassin would charge up(with their current Attack Rating, only good thing they’ve done) and then using a finishing move released all charges. The effect yielded depended on how many charges of that charge-up skill you had. With Mosaic, it’s attribute would be 50% chance to consume one charge when using a Finishing Move. This meant that when using a Finishing Move, you’d still consume a charge but at a much slower rate and the effect yielded was based on the charge consumed. So if you had 3 Tiger Strike charges, you could promptly use 3 Finishing moves to get 3 charge effect on first, 2 charge effect on 2nd and 1 charge effect on the final one. As such, an Assassin would inevitably run out of charges and have to use their Charge-up moves again. What we have now is grab x number of charges and then forget about refreshing them as we use Finishing moves as many times as we want without them being consumed. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs their head examined.
