So my storage is full. I have lots of unidentified items and also a lot of potions. I’m a lvl 14 necromancer and no idea what weapons are worth keeping or not. I’ve obviously sold anything that belongs to another class. Are items worth more identified than unidentified?
Read stuff on d2.maxroll.gg
Check the build what you want to be and the items that are most suited with the build. Check also future builds you want to make and keep the needed items around. When full create a mule char(s) and you have a bit more room to store your items
You can drop potions or sell them … you can always just buy more if/when needed . As for other items … reg. Gear (whites) only very few is worth keeping. Magic’s (blue) only jewels are worth keeping Some could be worth a lot but rarely . Rare’s (yellow) I use them for place holder for unique’s but BUT some yellow’s with perfect stats are worth selling like diadams/cerclets . As for unique’s (gold) keep all or hold at you content
Keep an eye out on perfect stats could be worth a lot
hey a little tips , the better item are Unique kind they are gold colour , the yellow and blue items usually are scrap unless theres exemple +3 necromancer skill + 2 skeleton + 3 skeleton mastery on it , or something like that, dont sell what belong to other class if the item is unique u can see the difference like white ,blue, yellow, gold
another exemple the Name of the item will help u , Unique items have name like Goblin Toe , Harlequin Crest , it not just like composite bow or long bow
I am only a little wiser after checking out the website (think 50+ rather noob gamer). I don’t know what a mule char is or how to create one….
So my ghoul emblem buckler us a keeper I guess? Why should I keep the unique items for other classes? In case I want to play it with a different class later or for trade with someone else who plays?
Sorry about all my questions. I’m stuck in iso with a sick husband and bored……
Mule is just an extra character to use for storage. The first tab of your stash is for that character only, so all characters new have an empty tab. The other 3 are shared and all items will show up in those tabs on all characters, plus the on-character inventory of a mule can also be used for storage. So to fill a mule, put items in the shared tabs (2nd through 4th) and then swap them over to inventory or 1st tab on Mule.
I’m just getting into Hell on my first character, I have all classes made and any items specific to a class I find that I may want to keep I’ll transfer to that character. 2 Mules, one for sets and the other for the spill over on runes and gems. Gear-wise: I’d say at your stage, other than some really good rares to swap up builds on the fly, I’d just keep singles of set items and some uniques, later on you’ll have an idea of what you can get rid of. Rares you no longer need can go to another character you plan on trying next.
Gems, Runes, Charms are more important IMO but don’t get carried away. Early on cubing up Gems helps to get those perfect ones for crafting but once you can efficiently farm later acts and into Nightmare the chipped and flawed ones you should just skip unless you need one for a recipe. Runes…I try to keep 3 of each in the shared tabs, then have personal ones to cube up at will. Charms, depends on what build you’re using. If melee then anything that adds damage will carry you a long way on Normal difficulty. Ones that add resistance are good to hoard away incase you need the boost. (additionally, keeping small charms is generally more efficient in early game than keeping the large and grand charms due to space).
Oh, forgot Jewels, start making a small stash of those for later crafting and socket use.
To add
I be leave thar only one white is worth keeping and It drops in hell
monark shield
You know, it’s funny because I literally just had the same question you did over the weekend.
I’ve found this Reddit Post to really helpful. For items you’d keep it explains why you may want to keep them and lists just about everything that’s Charsi food.
Bonus question: is it possible to miss the horadric mauls? I’ve killed the smith 3 times and nada….
OMG never mind. I’m as blind as a bat
99% of things you will find is garbage, only some of that garbage worth selling to merchants for gold (usually jewellery some armors and sorceress orbs/staffs) . In the very beginning aim for yellow and unique items. Items with +1-3 or more to your class skill that you are using is big bonus. Try to get as much resistances as possible.
