Yeah, but the funny thing is when my merc use Infinity instead of Pride, I can kill Baal almost 2 times faster. Which lead me to believe, apart from NHD, the strafe attack rating is also bugged. It makes no sense when Baal defense reduce by 80%, I can kill him much faster. Even though with my current AR (23k), the Character screen tell me I can hit him 86% of the time.
Itâs likely the raw damage plus the 40% crushing blow on infinity that is helping you kill Baal much faster.
Hmm, I guess you are right. Even though I have 60% CB. My merc doesnât suffer from NHD and CB penalty for range class + he rarely miss some how.
Yeah the ranged CB penalty makes a big dent in your crushing blow potential. 60% on ranged is a little like having 25% chance for melee. Your act 2 merc also has the jab skill, which hits more frequently than your standard attacks.
Doesnât seem like any damage calcs take into consideration the ITD and +300AR on Faith. With WF + A1 w/ Faith, I had an 85% chance to hit normal cows, and a 75% to hit cow bosses. With Faith + A2 I have 95% to hit basically everything. Thatâs about a 10% increase in DPF right there.
I also agree with Onadroigâs comments regarding Fana aura with the A1 setup. I had it on maybe 70% of the time Iâm firing, if that. Whereas with the A2 setup, I always have Fana and Conc (luckily rolled a lvl 20 conc on my Pride so it has a 36 yard radius). And might aura with a similar radius. The problem is the limited radius of Fana.
