I found a new dagger I want to use but there is no dagger Mastery like there is for other weapon types. Are daggers junk for barbs?

Unfortunately they are not a good barb choice. The only other thing would be throwing daggers/throwing mastery & double throw. Even then, I do believe daggers will take a back seat to throwing axes, which can serve for both throwing and melee attacks.
