Anyone else on board with the idea of drastically reducing the durability loss chance on weapons by 5 times and increasing repair costs by 5 times?
Just something to make the melee classes a little more tolerable.

Just reduce dura loss by factor 3-5 without increasing costs
That works too; but I’m just saying that the cost to repair weapons (not charges) could be increased for all I care. My biggest issue with non-casters is having to repair your weapon every 30 seconds unless you use a phase blade.

I’m good with this, leveling a WW Barb right now using Dual Bloodletters and those things have 54 durability but seemingly get into Yellow durability range after a couple zones of play…which is fine I guess, it’s not the end of the world, but it is a bit annoying to be sure.
I like this change. Its pretty bad how quickly weapons lose durability. Playing any high attack speed character has so many interrupts to go repair, its annoying.
Or maybe also introduce a chance to lose durability on weapons when casting a spell, just to share our pain with the sorcs. Mwahahahaha
Yes Durability is lost way too easy, compared to casters that don’t lose durability for just about anything.
No need to share the pain, I love using eth caster weapons, moslty for the look.
