Just a friendly reminder for all to make sure to check your weapon classes correctly before attempting to make runewords.
I got tricked trying to make a runeword Oath with a Legendary Mallet. The game displays the Mallet as a MACE CLASS. However, if you look into online D2 weapon classes pages, the Mallet is actually under a sub category of HAMMERS within the mace class category.
In other words, don’t be me.

Right. I had 2 eth 4 socket Legendary Mallets, and was going to make the same mistake, but read up a bit on it first and luckily, tragedy averted, whew. Sorry it happened to you though 
I just traded a Vex for a Mal to try to make oath legendary mallet and guess what, it didn’t work eithor in Season 10. However, this is the same day Ladder will reset so i really didnt lose anything except learn from this. Hope nobody gets fooled because other websites will tell you mallet class when thats a lie.
