They should be advocating for another difficulty level with the same drop rates as they already have all the gg items. 
Itās obvious they just want easy loot, without putting in the effort of joining split mf games or gathering a party. Just to lazy and antisocial to do that.
No point in debating with them as Toddwick/Zahramar/Lumpus are just living in their own cozy echo chamber where around D2R exists a whole industry and people make their living by selling virtual items. They are just repeating the same lines like delusional parrots.

So your argument is that online p8 would not change much but prevent the hassle of finding a split mf game or dedicated group.
So it is a simple QoL change. Would it be nice if you had a group of 4 that you went through the āhassleā to find to play together in a p8 online game.

- p8 online virtually exists due to split mf games and dedicated large group games
- Finding group and doing large scale games are a hassle.
- P8 online would be QoL
- The difference in total items would not be that dignificant since people do split mf games already
Thatās the point of the whole D2 experience. To be painfully grindy. You need to put in the effort.
I like thatās itās hard and that you need to go through some loops to gather a party. That you need to be fast while farming and quickly jump in another game.
Being a hassle to be able to take advantage of /p8 gameplay is a big perk of the game.
/p8 on battlenet will completely kill the social aspect of the game. Everyone will just sit in their own game. No more split mf games. No more fighting for zones with griefers.
Thatās what the majority of players already do
Do you use auto-gold pickup in D2R?

Of courseā¦but this bunch is lazy. They donāt want to put in the effort. They just feel entitled to the same volume of drops as people who actually make the effort to find a group and be fast and efficient.
They are also to lazy to trade and craft. They donāt want to admit that you can trade very efficiently without going on jsp or other 3rd party platforms and they hide their inadequacy behind complaints that they are held down by some imaginary cabal.
They are those type of people that are so viciously selfish and self-centered that they only care about what they want and donāt care about the majority. Valid also in real life. They donāt want to adapt to scenarios, in this case the game. They want the game to adapt to their needs no matter how dire the consequences for the rest of the community. Pure entitlement, indolence and mediocrity.

I am a level 94 ladder barb that did not rely on meta builds such as cold sorc to gear up. I can now easily kill dclone in ladder on my barb and do not need to use the easy mode paladin smiter.
After you finish counting my āad-hominemsā, I can give you something else to count, though they might be quite a mouthful for you.

Luckily, the developers understand the legacy of the game so /p8 will never come to Battlenet. They understand they need to protect and conserve the core of the game.

News flash, it isnāt a job itās a video game. Most of us have actual jobs, families and responsibilities. āWorking hardā at a video game isnāt in the cards for actual adults.
First and foremost, it needs to be fun. Do you know what isnāt fun? Playing a dungeon crawler looter that doesnāt give good loot for years on endā¦ unless youāre a kid living off your parents that uses a game to judge how awesome he is compared to all the ālazy and entitledā adults with actual lives.

I suspect the classic old Hax have resurfaced. They used to just grab valuable loot for you. Ive seen some players scoop items within a split second of it appearing. No way a human can respond that fast.
It really is sad and pathetic, glorifying being a no-life loser in 2022.
Like I am not judgmental people can do whatever they want from their lives - but they have to realize it is not the norm -not even remotely- and should definitely not ask other people to live their awesome life-styles.
