I’m not going to sit here and whine and complain. Frankly, I’ll probably just stop playing the game.
When it was days 1 & 2 of daily server outages, I said “okay, this sucks, but these things happen”. Day 3 made me question what was really going on.
But now it’s day 6 of server outages, with no end in sight.
At this point, everyone should expect server outages every morning going forward… which means none of us are capable of playing the game in the way we were promised when we bought it from Blizzard.
Blizzard should refund us, but we know they won’t, because they’re totally unethical and a shell of their former self. So, the only solution is to stop buying games produced by this company.
The bad news is they’re keeping your money. The good news is that it won’t keep a sinking ship afloat.
You need to grow up, we are entitled to have a complete product, online is part of said product.
Imagine buying a car whith faulty lights? Would you feel entitled to ask a refund or a fix because you can’t drive at night? Nah, it’s all good, ytou can drive it all day…
People argumenting “solo player works fine” are beyond fanboyism for me. Its a fact beyond any argument that D2R is meant to be played online, offline being just a cool addition for a minority of people, wich is also fine, but definitely online being broken means the main game is broken.
I also texted support for a refund as the game is not delivered as it was claimed. Little hopes i have, but flooding with refund request is the less and least we can do, I guess.
Despite some really annoying and almost quittable moments I’ve had I don’t need a refund myself but jeez blizz start talking here, like can you run this game properly or what. Why is all this happening. What’s in the patch besides: Fixed stuff.
Sure I’ll take it for a repair. But if hundreds of people are in front of me clogging up the repair shop, I’m not screaming at the mechanic to refund the car.
Unfortunately everything you just said holds no bearing on the reality of the situation. This was advertised as a multiplayer game but that feature has been non-functional over 20% of the time since launch. Yes, people are entitled to receive what they paid for and that’s why we have laws to protect consumers in circumstances like this. It’s quite similar to a lemon law scenario actually. Someone could obviously sue for their refund and quite likely win given the server performance to date, but pretty much no one will spend that money just to prove a point.
