When they have the banner : “we are aware of an issue that is affecting…” etc etc, does it then mean I will lose all my recent progress and loot, yet again?

They were also “aware” that people didn’t like character models all the way back in February and look what that did. Nothing. lol.
They decided your “feedback” was not feedback they were going to act on. You keep making threads and posts. The same little group engages. Nothing will come of it. Blizz and VV made up their minds and have only re-inforced that since.
If you were gaming when the servers crashed, very likely you lose progress in a rollback.
If you had exited and saved hours before, you are probably fine.
Also, don’t keep anything valuable in the cube. If it is “in use” when the game crashes your cube can vanish.

I know - it happened twice already. I just don’t want start a new game when that banner is displayed, if that then means they plan to rollback soon.
Smart move. I am not either. Until this mess stops I am only working on alts and stuff. So if I lose progress it won’t hurt too much. I am also doing the “save and exit” thing when I hit milestones I don’t want to repeat. Just to force it to save.

Yep. And at this point after playing Alpha, Beta, etc I am fine with it. The in game environment and the char art are harsh, gritty, and realistic. I am good with it now.
I am honestly just sick and tired of the whinging about it over and over and over and over and over. Any sympathy I had is long gone. Esp after some of the more vile posts that a subset of people made. No thank you. If it keeps them out of the game all the better.
And people liked them and still do like them. What does it matter?
