I’m referring to everything that drops. There is so much ground clutter that often I can’t even see the ground / all the item names / mobs I’m fighting. I can’t remember if this was always the case or if something changed. This is even on players 1. I shudder at higher player counts…
Have to resort to toggling loot names off when I’m fighting so I can actually see / click the mobs. And often have to spam drink and pickup all the potions just so I can see what the rest of the items are that don’t get displayed otherwise. Autogold definitely helps at least a bit.
Any other tips or tricks? How do you guys handle it? I sure would appreciate even a basic loot filter to remove some of the junk.
That is normal play i guess? Loot names Always of. Sometimes ALT to Check loot.
I feel like the floating name tags are larger than they were. I play with tags toggled on and I know exactly what your saying.
Toggle the text off and on and you can see the Gems, Jewels and Rejuv potions on the ground to pick them up directly. During dence drops its allways worth clearing the text and looking directly at the ground to see if anything is being covered up.
Seems normal to me. I haven’t noticed anything very different from the original D2 in regards to trash drop frequency. I also play on gamepad where loot is auto-highlighted in a radius around you by default, but the game always prioritizes attacking mobs with the button, so I never accidentally pick anything up (which can be a hindrance if you WANT to pick something up in a fight, in which case mouse is better). All works fantastic and looks fine to me, but YMMV.
