Does the new update include WASD support? I know it was in the game and taken out at one point.

Go to your “Controls” tab, and select which skills in the “F1-12” keys you want switch with the “WASD” keys.
I want movement tied to WASD, not abilities. Similar to Diablo 4 or Path of Exile 2.

I see. Well, I’ve never really used movement with the WASD keys. I used the Left mouse button.
It’s a valid way of playing but my hand get withstand the clicking anymore.
I was hoping for this, but doesn’t look like it made it to their priority list. MrLlama seems to have been a major force in this development as far as strategies maybe. And when WASD came up in his stream today he played it off as something he doesn’t care about. So that might have played a role.
A lot of people want WASD tho, like myself. I hope the devs realize there’s a lot of hopium for this.

At the end of the day we have Project Diablo 2, but I’d rather hop on the official client. No WASD is very disappointing.

Have a few friends also that would want this. Actually had one tell me they wouldn’t play it because it doesn’t have it lol…I’m not making that up either. It is a feature that is requested quite a bit.

WASD support please!!!
WASD isn’t a nice to have it is a must by having the same command being used for attacking and movement i.e. mouse click it creates situations where you can’t retreat quick enough and directly leads to character death this is unacceptable when the game includes a mode where character death can be permanent. Good game design demands a separation of movement and attack commands this is not an issue on controller but not everyone can use a controller as someone who has arthritis in the hand due to an injury the lack of WASD makes the game unplayable at times. Blizzard’s action in not including it is discriminatory.
