Super disappointed with the new patch and the nerf on the warlock. The warlock was already a glass cannon in tzones without your demon. Now you have to have 20 skills into Bind Demon to even get Hephasto with an aura. Even after doing the reading up on the patch and preparing for it. My brother and I can’t bind to Hephasto with lvl 20 Bind Demon, as well as lowering the health. It keeps saying “impossible”. This game is bugged now.
On top of it the damage is nerfed down like a 1/3 of the amount it was previously. Causing the killing to slow down more than a sorceress, corpse explosion necro, whirldwind barb, fury druids, bowzons or javazons. Warlock is the slowest killing caster, now more like a single meele build feel. You can’t use a shield which just a hassle considering you have like 4 tome options.. The life/mana leech is considerably lower because of the damage nerf. Leech is based off of damage which they took from us. The eldrich blast skill being nerfed down to 5% leech. Only ELIMINATES any chances at running ubers whether in a group or solo. I could not use my warlock for ubers before and ill NEVER be able to use one for it now. I would be better off using a poison dagger necro.
This new patch is bugged out and I speak for all of us when I say Blizzard neeeds to give us a refund for how bad this expansion is now. I knew it was going to be bad but not this bad.

Here are my thoughts.
Bind Demon: Before, yes, it was a bit overturned. However, now it feels like a significant downgrade and not even worth taking anymore. I have a level 10 Bind Demon due to +all skills, and I’m having issues binding anything non‑elite in Terrorized zones. Nothing will bind. I’m guessing that’s not intended, or maybe Terrorized enemies are considered elites/unique now?
Gameplay thoughts: Personally, I didn’t mind Holy Fire / Holy Shock aura on Bind Demon being used simply to spread Cursed to all enemies. Sure, the chance to curse interaction was way over tuned before but was Holy Shock and Holy Fire? Those barely did any damage; they just helped increase the Cursed proc chance.
Additional thoughts:
Bind demon definingly needs some more refinements and right now it’s too much investment for too little return.
The demon’s aura choices are not great.
Conviction needed to go
Cursed is fine at the new rate
Holy Fire, Holy shock should return.
Bind Demon Immunities maybe need to be removed but keep higher resistances to make it somewhat worth obtaining. This way bind demon players don’t have a godly pet that cannot be stopped.
A bind demon personally should not be stronger than the Uber ancients or even uber baal, Mephisto and Diablo now that’s just game breaking so allow some risk with the demon forcing players to actually use the heal ability we have.
This makes me wonder how a bind demon could be used for Ubers since you can’t revive one if it’s dead. Maybe allow a way to heal a small percentage passively in case you need to kite or allow engorge to a bound demon without a corpse by a small percentage like 3-5% nothing crazy just enough to get players to think about their engagements.
I could see bind demon on the A4 enemies with spit out little demons being an overall favorite for Ubers if more changes are made to bind demons.

I’m curious what you actually mean here because my echoing strike warlock, without any proper respec or decent gear, is still on par with a hammerdin. I’m shredding through P1 TZ’s with ease still.
Was it massively nerfed? Yes. Is it still top tier? Yes
