From what I’ve tested so far with Warlock Echoes, I have several concerns.
First, I don’t understand the decision to give us Forty Eth. Since durability is an issue and the item will eventually break, it feels pointless to build around it if we are guaranteed to lose it.
Second, the damage feels extremely low. The class was definitely too strong before, but now this doesn’t feel like a nerf — it feels like a complete downgrade. The overall performance is far below what I would consider viable or enjoyable.
Regarding Bind Demon: it used to be strong because we could give it a reasonable amount of survivability. Now, it needs constant healing (every few seconds), which makes the gameplay frustrating rather than engaging.
Also, the linking mechanic feels inconsistent. We are told there is around a 27–28% chance to link, but I spent nearly 10 minutes trying to link a single champion. That doesn’t feel right at all.
Even if Bind Demon is currently strong, we have to keep in mind that the Warlock can only have up to 3 demons at the same time. Because of that limitation, it made sense for Bind Demon to be powerful.
Conclusion:
In my opinion, the nerf is too strong and too excessive. Please reconsider these changes, as they significantly reduce both the effectiveness and the enjoyment of the class.
