Give it a try when the servers are back up, hopefully there will at least be a new wave of games with every refresh.

Edit: Servers seem to be working. I’ll make a feedback post later tonight.

now imagine bodach, instead of this useless game search feature… we had a loot filter… LOL. IMAGINE. ROFL.

right now there’s 12 games up in my server list, that’s it. i hardly need a search filter to go through them, i can literally see them all in the game list. this function, is not needed…

seems to be returning only games in the 40-game list, from what i can tell.

…if only we could create a channel to get a bunch of people together in one place to test it out more in-depth.

I’m beginning to think a loot filter from Blizzard would end up cluttering the screen more somehow, and they’d call it a day.

From what I can tell, it’s not bad.

The game info loads instantly, the player count changes in real time. I just had 2 new baal games pop up when I searched baal. (They didn’t pop up in real time, you still have to manually refresh).

It definitely could use some updates, but it’s a major improvement.

Now when you get rid of search functions are they also appearing on your normal 40 game list?

I’d try myself but I’m not going to be home for another hour or so.

I’m pretty sure they do appear on my 40 game list, but I’m noticing the game list seems to be fluctuating a lot more games in and out. So overall, this is a good improvement.

I’d like to hear your feedback when you can give it a try.

Well that’s good news. Going to try to remain optimistic. We just get burned by these guys so much. I shouldn’t be jumping the gun tho.

where did we get this confirmation? I never counted the games when I played around with it earlier, but reading through this topic, you mentioned search wasn’t searching for all games but only those games from your initial group?

entirely based on just what I can see. I could absolutely be wrong, but it’s impossible to test.

I’m manually counting the hell games on my NL list. The full page shows 14 games, so I mark the last game, and then scroll down until it reaches the top of the list, then count another 14 games. I’m seeing 51. I really hope this isn’t a bug and they continue to increase the game list capacity.

Yes it will only show you the Baal games from your initial 40 - 60 games on the list. Thats why they should try to increase our game lists so we see as many of these games as possible.

Or if they can some how populate your game list with up to 40 baal games from all game sites, that would work as well.

Ok, that is interesting. When I logged in to goof around with WW on my non ladder IK Barb earlier, there was barely any games up in non ladder.

IN THE PATCH NOTES

  • Game List size has been doubled from 20 to 40.

… no more wondering now is there…

That is why I asked where the confirmation was, since the patch notes said doubled, and hence why Nickie said hope it isn’t a bug.

Unless I can’t count, I currently have 63 games on my NL hell list, YES!!

edit: confirmed 63 games on my list, YES!!

and 45 on Ladder SC Normal

edit 2: I like what I’m seeing so far when I search for games. The real-time updating was a nice surprise.

You must be near a big server cluster. I just logged in and poked around a little, both in NL and Ladder, I was pulling just under 40 games max. Tested the search again, and if I refreshed while under the search, it would pull in newer games (used baal). Now, it wasn’t pulling more than about 5-7 games under Baal, but this is mid ladder. I expect that number to be higher at the start of ladder.

I’m in US West and possibly closer to more game sites. I’m also getting around 5 - 7 baal games.

I also noticed that I was seeing a few different games when I searched for “MF” that I didn’t see on my original list of games. So this could possibly be better than expected.

I’ll keep messing around with it.

But yeah definitely at the start of a ladder, it will be great :+1:
