Used credit card to reward lobby spam bots and get fully geared on first day of ladder. Now the game is too easy, when is the next ladder?

not playing S7, but it would be nice for once to know a start and end date of a ladder. You know like they do in D3 for example.
You act like the game is an economic simulator, not an ARPG…
No one is forcing you to play D2.
Playing through the storyline is an ARPG… After the storyline is completed, the game is unofficially what we make of it. The massive amount of RMT spam, bots and item selling websites point towards some sort of economy… Hello? Anybody home? Think McFly, think!

Bring on the eight. No bots, new game modes, fixes for melee that work, hurricane synergies with shape shifting, bowazon love, and a mid level infinity.

October is d4 exp1 release
Aug/sep with small patch to generate hype for d4
Then probably big patch before PoE2 release
Nope never done it properly in a 4 month period
S6 was also cut short again without any reason.
September would be my guess too but blizzard doesn’t follow any logical schedule for D2R
The scheduling for this non-lucrative game is variable and must give way to the scheduling of more lucrative games like Diablo 4. But yeah, 4 month is roughly the average.
We had barely 3 months and 5 months cycles but not anything really close to 4
but since D2:r - they even asked us what we wanted… and then decided to NOT CARE AT ALL. and we haven’t had a SINGLE ladder season that was the same length as any other. a.k.a d2:R “devs” do not care about ladder resets.
we had a proper 4 month. a 5+ month OOPSIE we FORGOT ABOUT YOU, so HERE’S A PTR FOR TERROR ZONES AND SUNDERS… we’re also taking your feedback on that. and throwing it in the trash can, we’re going to add this and leave it forever because we’re the best devs lalalala we can’t hear you we’re awesome. also here’s mosaic. forever.
then ya, we had a few that weren’t on time at all. they would just randomly be like yo ! ladder reset because if we don’t it will coincide with OTHER ladders (who cares about their other diablo games. honestly) , and it SORT OF made sense. the last one was 3 months, short and sweet. was kind of nice honestly.
so who EFFING knows anymore. d2:r is treated like a red headed step child. and if the last “patch” wasn’t a massive promise of lies… but i don’t expect a 4 month ladder. i honestly don’t even know what to expect, except. disappointment. there’s always that when it comes to this company these days.
yeah they gave us one fresh season with new ruenwords and terror zones, and now we will sit and wait another 20 years
