That was very important task for us who want to play this spec, for us who really know what this spec needs.
So necro who using only corpse explosion is an intelligent req spec?
Why do you even bother when you dont care for the spec?

Finaly. Good work community.
Great changes, lets see if its not too strong, but if so, maybe jus make synergies just work as other trees…
Soft synergies will bump Wind, Fire and SS Druids. But by how much that remains to be seen. They won’t be broken strong that’s for shure, so no one could cry for nerf. Hopefuly.
My calc is that ele druids will get around 2300 extra passive dmg from the changes, just for getting 1 point in all the summons
and a lot of meat shield too, wich nowaday is impossible.
That’s basicly nothing in Hell imo.
How so? its not per second its per attack of the summons, it will be much more in fact. And a full geared ele druid has around 7k dmg, its almost 40% extra dmg just from there, per attack.
and the meat shield will be amazing in hell too. Id say take away the soft points synergies and rebalance numbers.
By just one point, and from item +skills, is hard to make wolves esp do much dmg or hold dmg.
Edit, i dont disagree tho about synergies. They need to make these changes ONLY for summoning investing
PPL forget they receive synergies from +skills, different from any other tree in the game. They are not gonna be as good as a full zoo build, but may be even better as you are a real threat in a elemental druid build. And they do dmg and take away the enemies.
Wind druid is already a walk in the park build and it become stronger with this. Not gonna complain though.
We asked for this, to make the all summon spec only available for summoner and by investing pure points to the tree.
We only have to wait and see
I know, i only woild take away the soft point synergies if that goes wrong, its my only concern in fact.
You need to keep in mind that necro already has that with revives and summons plus he has corpse explosion
Well, full geared wind don’t even need much of meat shields in the first place. He already had bear, and amazing cyclone armor, so bunch of wolves won’t change much.
Don’t forget, Necro has specific skills to boost summons, dmg and toughness. Soft synergies ment to do the same. And you can be a bone or poison nova necro whit summons. And necro will still be better than the druid. But let’s just wait how testing goes and wel’ll see clearer.
I fear the current change isn’t enough, but I will take what I can get right now and hopefully it will continue on improving moving forward
Who pissed in your Cheerios?
Not even close bud, a modestly geared ele druid Tornadoes are doing 10k dps, Hurricane 3k dps.
Excellent work, community!
It is encouraging to see the devs actually listen for a change.
We all did a lot of testing and suggesting solutions and they chose the one that is arguably most popular and the easiest - full zoo. Testing already showed that each furry pack had about equal damage and that the Summoner needed to do about 3x damage to compare with some other builds. Having all pets remedies this and surprisingly they didn’t nerf Raven, so we have that additional damage as well. The damage on this new summoner should be quite solid and the build will require active play between recasting ravens and tactically summoning wolves into combat.
I am really looking forward to playing this build.
If the 1 point wonder full zoo causes Ele or SS Druids to be more powerful then they should be (which would require them dethroning Hammerdin and Sorc, which ain’t happening), then the Devs can use the other thing we suggested: Persistent pet pack only after 20 hard points.
And yes vine and spirits still need some work. Let’s appreciate the battle we’ve won today and worry about further changes in the future.
I agree. Even playing HC SSF, a pure summoner druid can handle normal and NM well. The trouble is hell. By adjusting to persistent pet packs only after 20 hard points, the pure summoners will be the only ones benefiting from the new change. This may solve the issue with wind druid and other PvP power creep.
Again, I am happy with the new changes, but I think people playing the game in other ways should be considered too.
Can you clarify how many +skills we are talking about here?
Sorry I am just trying to understand the situation. I only play SSF. I was imagining a wind druid would mostly have +elemental skills.
