When Attempting to make this I got a Gemmed Thundermaul. Yes I did correct recipe and in a white 4 os TM. Sadface
If I’m not mistaken the Voice of Reason Rune Word requires a Mace or Sword.
A Thunder Maul is an Elite sub-Class of the Mace, but not considered a Mace when crafting Rune Words.
This is NOT a bug.
“Maces” doesn’t mean all Mace Class weapons. When a Mace is called for in a Rune Word recipe, you can use:

I understand the mechanic. And I’m saying it makes no sense. If for nothing else, then exactly for this kind of confusion.
