They need to add a filter to hide trade games and allow us to see public farming games

I noticed this as well. I am hoping they are just having issues with the game lists? Or everybody stopped playing already?

Yes, you are noticing correct. 99% of other people here have their rose tinted glasses on and really think this is how a game with hundreds of thousands of players should feel 
they have fewer bots spamming hundreds/thousands of games constantly.

Yea well lol people new to the game can’t play in hell and those that can aren’t playing public games they are playing private lol why run public games with 8 when us three can run hell Baal?
there’s gotta be something wrong. last night in the middle of the night there was only 1 hell game for a while and then zero.
i hope its the system that’s buggy and not reporting all games cauz that’s depressing otherwise.
*oh im in hardcore. maybe the majority of ppl are scrubs playing softcore 
people are playing private games the ones you see in public on old d2lod are bots that can auto loot. why bother helping other people only to have them take your loot play private and keep the loot amongst yourself and your friends.

It’s not as simple as people are playing in private games. You don’t see the same games list as person B (on the same difficulty).
Maybe they’re doing some cheesy stuff to reduce server workload.

It’s not about loot, D2 has always had people happy to party up to get through an area safely or to rush. The exp gain alone keeps people playing together. I should be able to look and see a fresh Kill Diablo game or Act 3 Rush plz going. There is nothing worthwhile up. Last I checked there was like 1 game that was over 2 hours old. You can’t bother with such a game as any quests you want are all done.

I just confirmed with my friend, we both checked out normal games and spammed game rooms with 1 player (on our discord).
None of us have the same games. That’s why we’ve been joining dead baal and cow games for the past week. There should be hundreds of cow/baal games to join in any difficulty with the amount of people playing.
It might be just a bug, that’s probably the case, but I also think they’re capable of doing that on purpose to make the servers run smooth or something ( I’m not an IT guy so I could be completely wrong haha )

they should put high prio on fixing this bug/oversight . it makes the game feel deader than it is.

There’s a lot of games. The problem is that all the “trade” or “wts” games are overriding the actual games, as far as I can tell/see.
Yes 100%, it’s very anti-noob friendly.
At the very least they should put a Runs/Trade/PvP/Rush channel up so we could at least all be connected in some way.
It’s exactly this. There normally one or two games on NM or Hell diff ( HC ) on americas, release week. On lod, ladder reset had way more games, im not counting bots, as i actually played the game during the past years i can obv differenciate. There’s something wrong if a America server NEEDS to select Europe to check if theres a simple " a1 nm go " game at release week with this amount of player base, becouse on America server theres 1 NM or hell game up with 1 people in it. Literally no one level alone.
