So I just found a 4 socketed 14ED Eth Grim Scythe and I was wondering if I use the cube recipe to upgrade it to a Giant Thresher, will it stay 14 ED and Eth with 4OS? Or will it “reroll”, and if so, can I toss Insight / Infinity into it?
You can’t upgrade white/grey items.

I upgraded a perfect Black Hades this morning and somehow got it stuck in my head you can do that to any item. Tough break for me.
I didnt ever think to upgrade a Black Hades… might go and do that.
You have 3 slots to reduce requirements, just be aware 230 strength is hefty req. (Unless of course it’s Eth.)

Ethereal only drops str reqs by 10. It would be better if the eth lower requirements was a percentage instead of a fixed value.
True, but 10 str can be the difference between a level 92 merc and a level 96 merc, which is a lot of grinding. Or something like that, I didn’t look up the exact Merc level stats but you get the idea.

It has 3 sockets, requirements - 15% rare jewels are the way to go.
