Revives mercenary if dead. Awards a random, rare class item.

Revives mercenary if dead. Awards a random, rare class item.

Andariel:
Charsi will now accept Magic Rocks (read below).

Act 2:

Tainted Sun:
Awards players with a random, rare amulet. (Honestly, I think this is appropriate; because in Normal I do wind up using that amulet with my first char each season for the rest of the act and it’s a bummer to lose).

The Blackened Temple: Hratli awards the players with a rare weapon.

Act 3:

Blade of the Old Religion:
Asheara revives merc if they are dead. Awards players with a random, class specific rare item. Currently, she gives you a merc if you don’t have one.

Act 5:

Betrayal at Harrogath:
Personalized item
Possibly a set piece from a new set. (read below)

The Ancients (Hell Only):
Larzuk is looking for the Anvil of Fury. (read below)

Drops randomly from Terrorized Griswold; bind to the player like Mephisto’s soulstone and can only be picked up if you don’t have one or don’t have the Add Socket Quest.

Reward: Renews the player’s Socket Quest

Magic Rock
Randomly drops off Terrorized Countess and Andariel.

Reward: Renews Imbue Quest. If a player has the imbue quest, Charsi will reward the players with a ring (50% Chance Rare, 45% Chance Magic, 5% Chance Emperyon Band)

Empyrean Band:
Ring
Required Level 65
+1 to Skill Tree (Random. Can be Sorc Fire, Paladin Combat, Barb Warcries, etc.)
+5-10 to All Attributes (Varies)
+10% Faster Hit Recovery
+20 Fire Absorb
+2 Light Radius

I’d be fine with something like this. Otherwise people are just going to keep rushing up normal difficulty “socket mules” for the same purpose. I’ve done it plenty of times.

As far as the drop chance when it comes to time played, I’d say it needs to be set approximately double or triple the time equivalent it takes the average player and average time for all classes starting out from scratch to solo up a character to the socket quest in normal.

I think it being only from Terrorized Griswald after Hell would limit the time even available to farm it. Seeing as you have to wait for Tristram to be terrorized. So if it was like…1/200 chance you could farm it maybe every other day, depending on how often Tristram drops as the TZ.

But I see your point.
