So there are some unique items that exist from Diablo 1 that are in Diablo II. Some of them had more details in Diablo 1 then Diablo II Veil of Steel being one of them. Can you pull from Diablo 1 when these things happen for more detailed inspiration. This also goes for uniques that are just plain jane like rings and such. There was a lot of detail in Diablo 1 that was not always pulled over in Diablo 2. It would be cool to bring back those lost details.
For models that have both possibly have it randomnly pick which image type but, if that is too much work that is okay.
