Unique charm limit per character

unique charms that are limited to 1 per character should not be limited in the shared stash. the shared stash is linked to all characters. it should be able to hold as many as you can fit or limited to 3 of each type, one per shared tab would be acceptable. otherwise it defeats the purpose of a shared stash. we would have to risk losing it to trade it to ourselves by other means.

I would hope that they would not overlook this, there should be no limit to how many unique charms can be in the shared stash.

It has already been tested.
As long as they dont change it, you can xfer as many unique charms in the shared.
Same with Cubes, you can put more than 1 cube in the shared stash.

I can see it now… Hoarders with a shared stash full of cubes just to get 3 times the space.

Thats a viable workaround similar to keeping your cube in your current inventory. If it works, all the power to the player! Have fun remembering which cube has what… LOL

awesome rev good to hear. i hope they dont change that then.

Wait I thought the cube was not supposed to be allowed in shared stash? Doesn’t that mean you could skip part of act 2 on normal? Are other quest items allowed in it?

u can skip parts of every act… its called rushing

I know what a rush is. But you still had to go get the quest items to do it. If you can put stuff in the shared chest you could just go straight to the last boss instead of needing to get the quest items, making rushes even easier.

Edit: now that I think about it… If you could put quest items in shared stash you could give all your skillbooks to one character too. I definitely think shared stash should be locked out of taking quest items.

I can agree with having multiple unique charms in shared stash, strongly against quest items being allowed in it.

As far as I was aware being able to put them in the chest was a bug and was not intended.

Oh yeah I know you were not, others were talking about having multiple cubes in the shared stash above me, that is what I am disagreeing with.

Keep in mind this was all during the Alpha, single player… Likely it was noted and might be changed come the Beta and release.

I would agree, quest items should not be allowed in the shared stash, everything else, fair game, no restrictions.

yeah i like the idea of being able to collect cubes with my main characters then put them on my mules. being able to put stuff in them while they are in the shared stash should not be a possibility.

Im pretty sure in the Alpha you couldnt put the cube in the shared stash if I remember correctly, I was pretty sure I tried that.

You could not drag and drop it to shared stash, but you could control click it into the stash. The streamers I watched all seemed to think that was a bug.

I am assuming it is as well, but we will have to see I suppose.

Yes, it could go into regular stash, but not into the shared stash, otherwise id assume it was a bug.

Hard pass my friends. You’re not meant to hoard unique charms. Find one, keep or trade it, farm it again.

:face_with_raised_eyebrow: Okay…?

You would still only be able to have one on each character. How is that different than having 20 mules for unique charms?

The work around already exists. That is just QoL change.

I mean, you can, but the original character limit of 18 per account still applied and if you were hardcore enough to make multiple accounts to hoard charms… More power to you I guess, less actual characters for you to use for anything but muling, but the fact still stands, it is limited for a reason.
If they wanted you to be able to hoard the charms, you wouldn’t need to make mules, which is to say that they won’t allow you to have more than one of each now for Resurrected.

Workarounds =/= intended game play/design.

You can have multiple old bnet accounts per cdkey. I have had dozens of mules carrying loads of crap when I used to play a lot around 09. I have made more battlenet 1.0 accounts than I can remember to be honest.

I guess you can make that argument though. I think it would be fine as long as it is still limited to one per character but I suppose I can see why you might not like that.
