Unique armor - pricing/value guide

Hello, some of you maybe saw my topic about value and price of items i work on. Because main topic is getting larger and i will eventualy 100% hit text limitations for one post i decided to split it up and have multiple posts with main topic with links to all of them.

I am reffering to this:

I have new update and it is for unique armors. Please share your feedback and opinions.

NORMAL UNIQUE ARMOR

Greyform
Very decent armor for start of new character, it has very useful life leech for melee builds and requires only lvl 7 to use. Greyform can be also used in low level pvp. Price: might be few Pgems if someone wants it.

Blinkbat’s Form
Better than nothing but it does not provide much. Price: no value

The Centurion
Armor has some minor atributes for low leves but nothing exceptionaly good. Price: no value.

Twitchthroe
Great armor for any fighter providing some dexterity/strength and most importantly increasing block chance and attack speed by 20%. Twitchthroe is often used in low level pvp socketed with some nice jewel. Price: Pgems - Lem.

Darkglow
Can be useful on normal difficulty if you are trying to stack resistances above 75% as it adds +5% max resist to all of them. It is not light armor tho so you will run slower and drain stamina faster with it. Price: Darkglow has no value.

HawkMail
very useful armor for fighters on normal because of “cannot be frozen”. Also good for mercenary in early stages of game so he wont be slowed by cold attacks. Price: Hawkmail has no value.

Venom Ward
Great armor when you deal with poison attacks. It is hard to find usage for it tho as it is only usable for specific situations. It can help when you fight Lilith as it provide huge bonus to poison resistance and increasing maxmimum poison resist. Price: no value.

Sparking Mail
Usable for Act 2 and some places in act 3 normal because of +30% to Lighting resistance, but it is not light armor so it will be slowing you down. Price: no value.

Iceblink
Great armor for mercenary on normal because it has freezing attacks completely stopping monsters and doestroying their bodies. Price: no value.

Heavenly Garb
Has some minor atributes, mostly for caster builds but nothing special. Price: nothing-Pgems.

Rockfleece
Armor has +10% physical resistance and decent damage resist for normal but it is heavy type armor and will slow you down. Price: Nothing-Pgems.

Boneflesh
Nice defense, life leech and open wounds. Ideal for fighters or mercenary. Price: no value.

Rattlecage
Nice defense bonus and 25% crushing blow. Armor is heavy type so it will slow you down, but it is great on mercenary. If you have mercenary who is using weapon with some additional crushing blow, he can be very deadly with it and even able to to deal great damage to bosses. Price: Nothing-Pgems.

Goldskin
Goldskin provides +35% to all resistances which can be really helpful if you are going NM but having bad resistances, but it requires 80 Strength. Price: Goldskin has no value with exception of season start where it might go for few Pgems.

Silks of the Victor
+1 all skills and 5% mana leech is not much for Strength requirement 100. Price: no value.

EXCEPTIONAL UNIQUE ARMOR

The Spirit Shroud
Quite good armor with low requirements usable by any class, it has very rare “cannot be frozen” so it is very useful for melee characters.

Skin of the Vipermagi
Excelent armor for any caster class because of +30% faster cast rate. Armor also provides +1 skills, magic damage reduction and 20-35 resistances. Vipermagi is being used as end game equip for some builds and is worth upgrading to elite version because of low requirements. Price: Resistance roll decides price of Vipermagi, rolls with 30%+ can go for Um and 35% for Mal or even Ist. It is very demanded item at start of season where perfect one cant go even for Gul or more price will gradualy go down over time.

Skin of the Flayed One
Decent armor for melee characters or mercenary because of life leech. Armor has auto repair so ethereal version is better providing more defense. Price: usualy no value, ethereal version can be sold for some Pgems.

Iron Pelt
Decent armor providing quite high normal and magic damage reduction together with good defense. Iron pelt is good for survival on hardcore. Price: no value or few Pgems.

Crow Caw
Usable armor for fighter characters or mercenary, it has quite good 35% chance to Open wounds, but it lacks resistances. Price: no value or few Pgems with some luck.

Spirit Forge
Somewhat usefull armor because it has 2 sockets and some +Life, but other than that its not so good. Price: No value.

Duriel’s Shell
Very usefull armor for melee characters or mercenary as it has “cannot be frozen”, strength bonus and resistances. Ethereal version is more valuable as it is good for mercenary. Price: value is determined by % enhanced defense and if Duriels is Ethereal. Non eth can go for Pgems, maybe even Pul at start of season and Ethereal ones with 190% and more ED can have even price of Ist.

Shaftstop
Useful armor for mercenary or melee character because it provides nice 30% damage reduction. Ethereal version is usable for mercenary so it is more valuable. Price: non eth Shaftstop without good %ED can go for Pgems, better one for Pul and Ethereal based on ED% for Mal to 4 Ist(perfect roll)

Skullder’s Ire
Great armor for magic find. It has self repairing so Ethereal version is more valuable. Price: usualy Pul-Um, ethereal version can be Mal-Ist. Skullders has higher value at start of season.

Que/Hegan’s Wisdom
Quite good armor for casters, very similar to Vipermagi but doesnt have resists and have less FCR. Price: can be usualy sold for few Pgems.

Toothrow
Better than nothing but not especially good armor because it is heavy and doesnt provide much with exception of 40% Open wounds. Price: no value, maybe few Pgems early in season.

Guardian Angel
Great armor for paladin but usefull for other melee characters also, mercenary included. Guardian Angel also called “GA” has +15% maximum resistances to all four elements making you almost immune to them with enough resistances on character. It has also amazing +20% to block chance and increased blocking speed. That is very rare magic mod. GA is often being used on hammerdin build before Enigma. Price: %ED dictates the price and it can be from few Pgems up to Um. GA is mostly valued early in season before hammerdins have Enigma.

Atma’s Wail
Armor has quite a good defense and could be useful for Energy shield sorc before you have something better because of 15% increased mana. Atma´s Wail has very limited use tho, mostly because it require 125 Strength. Price: usualy nothing to few Pgems.

Black Hades
Terrible armor, worse than practicaly anything else as it has only few atributes and they are weak and armor has high Str requirement. Ethereal version could be maybe somehow useful for mercenary as defense is decent but other than that you will be better using something else. Price: no value

Corpsemourn
Another terrible armor not worth using. It is basicly usable only by chyracter with high investment into stength and atributes it has are simply not worth the investment. Price: no value.

ELITE UNIQUE ARMOR

Ormus’s Robes
Ormus has pretty wide range of stats and it can be between almost useless to top equip for sorceress class. Most important atribute on it is +3 to random sorceress skills. Most skill with exception of lvl 30 skills can be rolled on it. Price: value is determined by the skill and % bonus to elemental damage. It can be between nothing to 3 Ist. Ormus with 15% elemental damage same as skill where skill is Fireball or Lighting could have value of 4-6 Ist, Most valuable is Blizzard Ormus with 15% cold dmg and that can go even up to 10 Ist.

The Gladiator’s Bane
Gladiators bane is not considered as valuable for selling but it is definitely not bad. Armor has quite high defense and normal/magic damage reduction and also very nice “cannot be frozen”. Price: usualy few Pgems , but ethereal version can be more valuable like Pul-Um as its usable for mercenary and helps to survive locations like travincal.

Arkaine’s Valor
Not bad armor but it has sadly very high strength requirement. I like to use it on my Energy shield sorc build as it seems to be perfect for build with high defense. Other than that is usage very limited. Price: value is based on +1/2 skills and then +ED% and is usualy Pul-Um.

Leviathan
Another armor with limited usage, mostly used by melee characters or on mercenary because % damage reduction and quite big bonus to strength. It has high str requirement 174 and it is not that great considering how rare it is. Price: based on %DR, ED% and +STR is price between Pgems - Ist. Damage reduction roll is most important.

Steel Carapace
One of the worst armors, non ethereal version is completely useless because of insanely high Str requirement 230. Attributes on armor are not even that good and it doesnt have anything interesting with exception of self repair. But even ethereal version simply require too much of strength. Price: no value

Templar’s Might
Second most rare armor in game but sadly not so good one. Strength required is very high 232 and atributes on armor are not worth investing so much into strength. It is usable armor for melee paladin or even barbarian or mercenary if you dont have anything else and you already have that much strength to wear it. Price: few pgems or even Pul, ethereal version can go even for Ist for good roll, but it is not easy to find buyer.

Tyrael’s Might
Most rare unique item in game, many players didnt find it in 15 years of playing. It has very nice atributes like cannot be frozen, +resistances, +Strength and very rare “Slain monsters rest in piece” which can be very usefull when farming Keys from Nihlathak. Armor has -100% requirements so it can be used by anyone without any strength investment but it require character level 84. Price: is decided by str/ED/resist roll and is usualy 1 High rune or more. Some people will want to it just to show off and it is sometimes valued only as collector item than something you would want to use on character.
