So, decided to try d2r remodded but it won’t launch because I need to log in because “You have not been online in the last 30 days” and I can’t log in because it is trying to always launch remodded. I tried deleting the entire folder, uninstalling d2r, reinstalling in a new folder location but it still tries to launch the modded version basically bricking the installation.
Anyone know how to uninstall / turn off remodded so i can log in normally to remove this message?

i think this is how the mod actually stays alive despite beeing to totally download it from the internet… it shares the DRM cookie with the vanilla game…
Simply put:
Download and install your legit copy of D2R from battlenet app, next launch the game… if you’ve stumbled upon the no 30 days login issue, and you are having problems migitating this, go to troubleshoot section of this forum, and look for a topic that solves it. the solution is to override a certain internet adress in your windows hosts file. after that’s done log in to your vanilla game to play online once every 30 days and after you’re able to access your vnila online chars, log out and start up remodded… you should be good to go…
Actually there is a way to circumvent this 30 day log in issue, that does not require log in every 30 days, but I’m not shareing it as this would render the remodded mod pure piracy, and would put it’s maker in bad terms with blizzard, so forget about it!
Deleting all files under: AppData\Local\Battle.net\BrowserCaches\common\Network
Worked for me.
