Unethical disgusting queue

I just want to rant while im waiting in your stupid queue. I was always fine with whatever happened to D2 problems. Server down i dont mind it doesnt bother me. But having a queue time as long as 1-2 hours ruined my d2r experience completely. At first it was ok. Average wait time for me was 20mins to an hour. But after numerous crash and reconnect, only to be queued up again, after the said queue, i am disconnected and reconnect and queued again. Many of us dont have a lot of free time to enjoy this game.if i have an hour free I cant be waiting for 30+ minutes just to play for another 30. Or sometimes i cant even play at all cuz queue is at 632. SO RIDICULOUs This queue thing makes me throw up and shows the true face of blizzard.

How would u feel if you bought a computer/car, only after using it for couple months you find that your product only worked when it wants to, and no one told you beforehand? If BLIZZARD HAD TOLD US ABOUT RIDICULOUS queue TIME BEFORE WE BOUGHT IT, i wouldve not buy this. DISGUSTING MOVE BLIZZARD. SUCH UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE

AND WHEN IS THE QUEUE IS GONNA BE GONE or made shorter? US servers are doing ok, but asia server gets 600+queue. Where is an ETA on the fix? Or you are just not gonna fix it? Their announcement regarding fixing the queue is so unclear. MAKE IT CLEAR WHAT YOU ARE DOING WITH THE QUEUE…HOW YOU ARE FIXING IT. You certainly explained the problem in detail, what about telling us ur solution in detail?

so we have long queue right now? I am about to relog lucky me I see this

I understand you’re frustrated, but perhaps go look up definition of ethical… word doesn’t apply here.

Annoying, poor, bad, etc… all work, but ethics doesn’t come into it.

How about LYING to the players? I bought the game i think about week before the queue system was implemented. I FEEL CHEATED AND LIED TO. Now the game is barely accessible for me. If i knew it was gonna be like this i would not have bought the game.

ITS BEEN WEEKS AND THEY HAVENT UPDATED ON ANY solutions. Feels like they just do the queue system and let the players suffer and not do anything. Thats lying right? Which is immoral and thus unethical.
Now if they updated us with solutions and whatnot, ok. Ethical. But so far, no, just a huge lie about the queue system

Thanks for the useless post.

Yeah but that wouldn’t be sensational and attention-grabbing enough.

Thanks for the useless reply. 80% posts on this forum is pointless. Simply voicing my opinion on a game forum

This one time long time ago there was a kettle that sat on the stove, and it looked over one day and said to the pot, “hey you boil water, you’re useless.” and the Pot replied, “hey you boil water, you’re useless.”

The end.

You know whats useful? A post eliciting Blizzard to address their progress on fixing the server

You know what else is useful? Not bemoaning like a child.

All the info you posted you couldve discovered within 2 min had you done a quick google search before even buying the game. Now we have to suffer a teenagers ranting about ethics…

When i bought D2 i know about server issues and character loss, but never found anything about long ridiculous queues. Nor did i encountered queues before the patch. How was i supposed to kno about long queue times before i bought the game?
I dont care what my complaining sounds to you. I am pissed off and yes it helps me pass the time while waitining and relieve some anger

They haven’t lied to you. Lying is telling you something untrue. They released a game, and shortly after release there are issues, which they have explained and are working on. This is not lying. Failing to communicate on progress, is also not lying.

Queues are a lesser of two evils and I will explain why.

1.) Allow the servers to be offline for 3-5 hours a day. Since they are offline the game is not being played by anyone. I don’t think that Blizz could create a program that would simulate tens of thousands of players doing what players do with different systems, settings, ping rates, etc… accurately enough as with the second of the two evils. This method might take years, if ever, to fix the issues.
2.) Queues: Here the game is still running in a controlled setting. The devs and IT team can see in real time what is going on and make fixes based on what they see in real time. Then they can even test out fixes in real time as well. This might only take a few months.

Now there is no way in the world that they could’ve foreseen that queues would be needed. So they couldn’t have said oh hey we will be putting in queues to handle server issues that we know will happen. If they said that then the players wouldn’t buy the game and say don’t launch it till you are sure of no server issues. That is why it is silly to think that they are some deity that knew what would happen before it happened.
