We all know that chaos sanctuary and catacombs etc are the best, so let’s talk about the rest!
What are some terror zones you enjoy, or find are under appreciated?
I’ll start by mentioning Outer Steppes+Plains of Despair.
Reason: Exp.
It’s not uncommon for me to get 400,000 exp in one run from this zone.
Forgotten Tower. Since Countess can come up with additional runes and keys.
Arcane Sancutary, Forgotten Tower and Nihlathak due to extra Keys but also sweet rune drops, notably in the first two thanks to Ghosts + Countess. Tombs are also quite fun due to Ghosts and sheer density.
Thread is slowed than I expected so I’ll throw a couple more in:
Black marsh+the hole. A really good amount of exp from the goblin camps in the marsh, and then drop down into The Hole, which is like running The Pit.
And Lut Gholein sewers as well. Lots of exp in there.
Been really keeping track of EXP gains lately, trying to get to lvl 99.
Sometimes have to make do with lacklustre TZs, but some of them are better than we give them credit for.
Group tz-> Chaos wsk and tombs
River is also fine
Solo → halls, flayer
They are all bad as they are a bad implementation of a better concept
Back in the day we used to do Sewer Runs to level after Trist Runs. We also did Arcane runs, so I think We did Sewer + Arcane instead of just Tombs? Sewers definitely has good density so it makes sense that it’s a nice TZ.
