Since launch I have been unable to see my own or anyone else’s messages/whispers in Game, Lobby and Whisper channels - in or out of games. I’ve tested with a friend, people can see my messages, I hear my own messages send but I see nothing. I have tried all the /unignore commands, Allowed online chat option, Scan and Repaired, reinstalled and still nothing. It’s impossible to trade or basically play in any public game. Are other people having this issue? It’s been nearly 10 days - I didn’t pay $55 bucks to preorder and play the single player version of this game.

I have a similar problem. Initially chat was working fine for me but starting several days ago, no messages are appearing - either mine that I type in or anyone else’s. I’ve checked the settings but can’t figure out anything that might have this effect.
Same issue here - really frustrating as it makes this impossible to trade!
I have the same issue. really hope blizzard get their act together on this one ASAP
its probably not this, but if u go into the “options” menu under “gameplay” u can see if u somehow unchecked the “allow online chat” button.
worth a shot i guess.
Still an issue, would love any type of blue response. Trading is a huge part of the game and isn’t possible without chat.
I have the Same issue, I have tried the “allow chat button” loads of times! its stupid i want to talk to people to know what needs to be completed in game
soo when i was play it on my work computer Chat was working fine, Really dont understand why i’m not getting chat on my home computer
I have tired to uninstall the game and delete the files in documents. still nothing!
it seems to have saved my settings so i’m not sure where the settings files are then.
the Update to 1.0.66063 has not fixed it!
does anyone where where the config files are saved?
Does blizzard even read these?

yeah I tried to contact them via there contact/reporting page and it just comes here!
the thing is it works on my work computer but not my home computer where I spend most the time playing!
its starting to in infuriating

Hello blizzard, Shazbot here. Still unable to chat or trade in the game I paid for. Very interesting way to implement a solo self-found mode but to be honest I’m not loving it.

I wrote an email to technical support regarding this issue and they sent me… here. Wondering whats the point after seeing lots of players reporting it with no response. Has anyone got any further than this forum?.

It would be a lovely day to do some trading, if I were able to chat and/or communicate. Daily bump hoping for any sort of response to the issue tons of people are having

yo shazbot & everyone, ive been scouring the forums looking for a fix, found one for myself, via @ultimita… what a legend. apparently if you connect to your phones hotspot , it worked for me then went back to real internet and chats still showing up… crazy! hope this works for everyone!
This fix worked for me also, thanks for your help! Still disappointed by this abysmal customer service though. Don’t worry blizz, your customers will solve your problems for you if you wait long enough.
