I’ve spent much of my morning attempting to play D2R on my PC, but I can’t seem to get the game to launch for the life of me. I’ve gone through all of the typical troubleshooting steps that Google searches will tell you to do, and I’m at my wit’s end. I’ve done the following:
- Updated my graphics card
- Verified that Windows is updated
- Scanned / Repaired the D2R files via the Launcher
- Uninstalled / Reinstalled the game
- Ran a clean boot of my PC by stopping unnecessary services, disabling startup apps, and restarting
- Verified that my PC is able to run the game
- Configured the Launcher and the D2R executable to run as adminstrator
Clicking the “Play” button in the Launcher just tells me “Playing Now” before reverting back to “Play”, without the game ever started. Attempting to launch the game via the D2R executable just does nothing.
I have no idea how to read the dxdiag file, but my blz-log file appears to have several errors related to host resolution, but I’m not exactly sure what to make of it. Any help would be appreciated!
