Remember we are at Blizzcon time. While no bc this year, they did state they would have announcements. Last year he recorded d2R reveal in December. Wouldnā€™t be out of the question that he had already recorded a6 reveal for release later this year.

Creates useless runewords, use cube set upgrades, making useless sets just slightly less useless and you think blizz is going to create a new great act.

This would be great. I expect Act 6 to be awful, but there is the chance it wonā€™t be. Worth the risk to me. So long as I can always go back to D2 Bnet 1.0

Also, this isnā€™t a troll. When he trolls he talks slower and will give a slight smile afterwards. This was natural language. He slipped up 100%. And then tried to play it off as a troll later.

Well to be honest they should ā€¦ They are sitting on a gold mineā€¦ Would be pretty bad to not use it.

Use it? Thatā€™s what they did with WC3: Reforged and it turned out to be a disaster. New games based on the IP shouldnā€™t just be used to make a buck. They need to actually make games that weā€™ll still want to play 20 years from now.

Use it ? Yeah blizzard is a company and their goal is to make money, No matter what they do with D2R it would sell like hot cakeā€¦ They really do sit on a gold mine right there hence why im saying they should use it. If they can make the Act 6 with love and care like the fans would do it, it could be even good for theirs reputations if they succeed to do so of course.

Iā€™m hopeful. Iā€™d pay good money for act 6 with a real end game and new stuff to do. I think Iā€™m not alone in this thought process.

I struggle to think what an act 6 would even look like. I donā€™t think theyā€™d be making new assets for the game, so theyā€™d be reusing and remixing the old assets intoā€¦what, exactly? Act 1 we get the green grass areas and caves, and rogue cathedral. Act 2 we get the deserts and tombs. Act 3 we get the jungle and ruins. Act 4 we get literal Hell. And Act 5 we get mount Arreat. So would act 6 just be likeā€¦some green area, some cave, some sand area, some tomb, some jungle area, some ruin, some Hell area, and some mountain area? How would that even work thematically? Idk, I just really donā€™t see it. Probably just him trolling or whatever.

pretty sure he didnt troll. The way he cut his wordingā€¦thatā€™s telling. I mean titan quest got a remake and a new expansion, why not d2? That would be easy money for blizzard AND they did make up quite a bit of money with dr2

I have a hard time believing act 6 is in development when they only added 5 original runewords to ladder and none of them are any good.

I honestly donā€™t know who would be the end boss of act 6, all the story in between is being told with diablo immortal, which is sad.
