A little academic topic since I’ve never been into doing UberTrist and probably never will. Trudged along a few times but nothing more.
Alright, looked at maxroll (yes, not everything there is right and/or optimal, I know)'s Uber Tier list (Diablo 2 Resurrected Uber Tier List with Character Guides - Diablo 2) and the sorc ranking (ladder).
- Is Nova really undoable for UT so that it’s not even on that list? If so, why?
- Which would be your top 3 or 5 sorc builds?
- Is Fire Ball Meteor really the best for UT sorc?

I’ve seen a nova sorc do UT online. From what he told me it’s possible online but not offline due to a delay in the online uber’s regeneration after taking damage.

Seems like Lightning would be better at UT than Nova. I’d investigate that before going down the Nova path, the average DPS from Lightning will be quite a bit higher and you can keep yourself at more range. I’d use the bone prison from Marrowwalk boots.
In general, it seems that a Fire Ball / Meteor / Hydra sorc is the optimal choice for UT. I’ve seen hydra/FB absolutely destroy it.
