hey all id like your input here. am i wasting my time farming travincal?
i ask because id done it about 15 times and only got gold and junk. running with 297mf also i really dont need the mf i am rune hunting but still gear would be nice also lol. just asking because im ready to give up on farming here
according to the 2006 forums they are the best source of charms.
They are great for charms, gold, gems, occasional rune…
i did find one charm and i am going to try and reroll it but yea its still junk lol idk iv done so many runs tonight i think im stuck in a loop lol
Travincal is easily one of the best places to farm gold from. With a gold find barb you can get over a million gold for killing council.
isnt lower kurast better for rune hunting than travincal?
Seems good for runes. But if you’ve only done 15 runs that should be about 20 minutes. If it’s taking you an hour then it’s not the best place for you to be farming. You need to go somewhere where you can farm quickly.

end of my runs tonight but after doing 40-50 runs and getting nothing but gold i am a bit let down i had hoped for a high rune drop. i cant farm them in a min but it is fast. that said i can clear my way to diablo just as fast and with less effort. as for gold i am maxed out gold is easy to farm off trash there is no need to take on mobs that can take you out. that said they do drop a tone of gold lol
From what I noticed you get a ton of gold which makes gold find barb amazing on it, and lotsa charms. You get occasional runes but not as much as cows or arcane which give more runes due to density or in arcane due to the higher droprate of ghosts.
Trav is run by barbs mostly to get gold to gamble with.
That’s actually a big part of why people farm trav… Get a bunch of gold find 
Gamble.
Sell GG rolled amulets and circlets.
Much profit, many wow.

Just make sure you get to a high enough level where you can gamble the good stuff
You can start rolling amulets worth a decent amount around the 80s, but yeah the best stuff like 2 all skills dont start showing up until like 92.
If someone does start gambling a lot, absolutely worth getting an edge bow (everyone should have one anyway imo…) and a gheed charm.

Ya kinda annoying your gambling char should be about 93, cause it might randomize less rolls otherwise. Ppl who are using bezerk find item barb to farm trav for gambling money prob are so rich that they prob have at least 1 toon at that level
and overall the best things to gamble are dagger (for gull), circlets since they can roll + to skills (which can beat shako if good roll), and amulets, and maybe rings.
I was watching Llama’s gold find barb, calling his 1200% gold find and 400% mf gear starting equipment because his charms were not perfectly rolled yet 
Dude was getting over 100k coins from a single coin drop.
That sounds about right, a proper gold find barb should be seeing large stacks of 100k coins per coin drop, which is why it is viable for barb to run that at least. So much gold that you can do some easy gambling if that barb is also 93+ or swaping to your high level char to do it.
Trav in general will drop more loot than Pindle. People farm Pindle… SO yeah.
isnt a prime level to gamble around lvl 64? cause of the chance to gamble a SOJ?
I guess if you’re really trying to gamble an SoJ. I think mostly people try for GG circlet type items, or rare amulets, but idk.
i usually just gamble rings and ammies, but if i see a tiara ill gamble that as well
