Trap Clarification

Hi,

I would like to know if the + % works for traps now or ONLY - %? Patch only references -% but would like some clarification.

+% would ruin PvP balance

At first I thought was both, but after re-reading it seems to be only -%

Assassin

  • The Assassin’s trap skills now benefit from -% to Enemy Resistance.

No +% for Traps.
The -% is going to be huge though. Just with Sunder alone the difference should be “!!!”

  • Fixed an issue where missiles created from Martial Arts charge up skills would not gain the benefit of +% To Elemental Skill Damage modifiers.

Ah for PVP. I can see how that’d shake the meta.

Patch notes say -res% only, but yeah I definitely understand your sentiment. I immediately thought about the PvP ramifications since some assassins do use Griff’s already just for the 25 FCR.

I suppose it’s a small amount of -res% though so easily stacked against.

yeah its only 2 charms but +% would not be ideal… we’d have to limit pts which then buffs them elsewhere, where they don’t really need lol.

ugh… this game, I want to continue to love it but it is getting harder and harder…

Yep yep. Sucks that Blizz won’t revert the FHR or block changes. :frowning_with_open_mouth:

Lol this game is finished. You can’t even control your opponent anymore, it’s all teleport and spam with invisible bone spirits/etc.

if we had fhr back, we’d make small tweaks to sins and game would be 95% as good as LOD.

i still think +% is going to work… sadly
