Hello. Can You guys please implement a hold ctrl + click to add items in trade to the trade screen. Takes forever to manually drag 40 gems over to finish a trade and encourages us to drop trade stuff, then someone steals what u were tryna give ur friend. Seems like one of the only instances where theres no ctrl function for fast transferring like in cube, shop, etc. Thanks!

I like the idea, but it can be abused.
If other player cancels the trade, while you are transfering, then you will be drop the item on the ground.

well, in that case, use a different key combination. or don’t allow the player to use that key combination for 1-2 seconds after the trade screen has closed.

The best solution according to me would be, if we get a button on the Trading window which says “Transfer All”
If the other player closes it, you cant press that button, this way, you cant transfer all 40 gems, because the other player closed the Trading window.

This is a good point, I always thought that when a player wants to close, there should be a warning “Player is closing trade window” for like 2 seconds locking each player in the current trade window.

A tool that lets a faster transfer would definitely be awesome.
While we’re at it, can we fix it so you can actually see the chat box while in trade window? Pretty silly that you can’t even communicate with the person you’re in a trade window with, b/c you can’t see what they are typing and likewise, until after you’ve closed out of the trade window.

I dont know if the trick works in Diablo 2 Resurrected, but it did work back then, under Diablo 2 LOD.
The same time you pick your item from the inventory as the other player press cancel. It wouldnt place the item back, you would still have it picked up from the inventory & some did by mistake press the button to drop it.
I prefer the “Transfer all” button on the trading window, but I do accept the other idea as well or both.

d2 has so much to improve when it comes to qol
Yeah I mean legacy D2 trade window worked fine in this respect (being able to chat with people during trade)

I don’t think that’s possible. As far as I know from exposed dupe methods, trade creates copies of players invsntories (which includes cursor), and if trade is cancelled just discards the copies

ya I think thatd be the best work around for abuse, if they cancel trade it nulls any clicks on inventory items you did and closes your inventory
I kind of like to close the trading window when the guy is moving the 38th pgem
