Finding someone to trade with is impossible for console. I have runes and gems to trade for gear, but can never find a trade. So frustrating as an old school D2 player from 20 years ago.

What you need, and which Runes you have?
Xbox here. Looking for White Monarch. Magefist. Crown of Thieves. Tals Mask. High Damage 4 os Polearm.
Have Um, Pul, Ko, io, lots of other runes and perfect gems.

I can barely understand PC-CONSOLE separation. But why the hell consoles cant play togheter is beyond me.

I literally got banned the other day, I used Xbox looking for group, I posted, trading +1 poison and bone skill GC, looking for mal or equivalent. I got a two week ban for these words, how am I supposed to communicate if i get banned for that.
I joined the D2R discord and have found people to trade with. It’s not as convenient as the old days, but I’m able to trade at least.

Y’all know you can access you’re character on the PC client if you play it on Console right? Yeah you have to buy the game again (which sucks i know) but I don’t regret buying on console, the controls are 100% better. Screw the keybinds on PC lol.

A lot of people don’t have a pc. This isn’t really a solution to anything.
Anyway I think there are plenty of options. On xbox I can look at LFG when I’m in one game, message someone in a completely different game and message them without leaving or joining theirs. Any time I scroll LFG its mostly trades.
What is LFG? Maybe a dumb question but I have no idea.

Ah no, not dumb at all. Looking for group. If you hit the home button on xbox while d2 is running you can find the looking for group section. Its near the bottom of the “people” tab. Right now there are 496 posts. I believe a feature exists on PS also.

Isn’t there a communities section? I haven’t played ps since the ps2.
Ah you’re right looks like they terminated communities in April of this year. Weird I wonder why
