Pretty much every single game is just some D2jsper trying to get a rune higher for their item.
For all the complaining about D3, the auction house was an amazing thing. Sucks there isn’t something like it.

They really need a trade tab like PoE. The Diablo III auction house was the one thing they really got right, as far as improvement goes.
I think it would be fine if there was simply a game search/filter type thing, and/or if they showed more games available. As it is we only see like 30-40 games total yet we have a queue to even get in and play. So where are all the other games? Sometimes I make a trade game and I get someone joining within a minute or two. But then other times it will take 30 minutes, or more. Then the weird thing is, I’ll get even more people joining the game, as if it “suddenly appeared” for everyone to actually see and actually join. Like it was never on the game list in the first place, for a 30 whole minutes. So whatever is going on there, if they fix it, would go a long way towards remedying these trade issues.
That’s odd, I have the exact opposite experience, every trade game I see is someone asking for an item much more valuable than their offer. “MyPul 4 Your Shako” or “Script for Occy” and all than is listed is a Sigons set and a sol rune. So I’m not sure what the answer is.
i wish people could do trading where it doesn’t just wipe out all player interaction. i’d rather have a tedious trade system than running spread sheets and looking at charts and graphs like i’m doing some basic 9-5 job. blizzard has completely destroyed their community by destroying the lobbies and game chats and friends list, some type of auction house would essentially turn diablo 2 into a single player game that you do with an internet connection and sometimes you see random players, which may as well just be bots or npcs, walking near you sometimes.
Well if we had trading tabs, then we can list our items which are uploaded to a website that other people can sift through. As I find something they simply just message you and you get together in a game. There’s interaction there.
it will just be turned into a mail system with charts, we all know that.
Well I would argue against that, if I were you, when it happens. I wouldnt really mind that tbh. The day of trade games being where to go is way over. The internet has developed so much more since then that there are so many other resources and ways to do it. Since people are so spread out, you’re just not going to see any trade games beyond novelties. This change is way beyond the scope of the game itself.

This site has been really great. I’ve traded dozens of items here already.
Hey what’s the super awesome secret as to how to put links in your post? I never used blizzard forums until D2R.
You can’t put links in posts unless you reach the right trust level. But you can put whatever you want in a block of text by putting a grave before and after.
Grave is the key just above tab.
X2 traderie is very nice.
Go back to D3, the only thing tedious is your posts.
You used the old version of the D2R forums too.
Highlight it and then hit the preformatted text button. It makes a link people can copy paste.
Clickable links requires Trust Level 3 in the Discourse Software.
Traderie is great but Activision needs to promote them in the game launch, like the ad it has for the woke streamers in the application.
Traderie definitely needs a major update, though. It’s next to impossible to sell good rares and then get a good price because items are listed by bases individually AFAIK (could be wrong). Let’s say you got a +2 amazon/assassin gloves 20 attack speed tri res… you can only list them under that type of gloves, so the chance someone searching for it will see it means they have to imput all of that information over and over for each glove.
Tried Traderie, i dont like the UI and find it clunky. I want the exact experience i had trading before in 2000. And i found it with the d2 chaos sanctuary discord channel. People post trades there in real time like a trade channel. Im even trading stuff when im in the toilet. Its awesome. Exactly the same as trading before, just on your mobile. That to me > traderie any damn day of the week.
yeah, rare and crafted search needs an update, that’s true
An in game only auction house would be nice. The real money one was bs.
I have had no luck on that site. I usually just put up a lobby with the offer in the description and MF until someone comes into my game. Sometimes it takes a while but it works for me. I just keep playing while I wait.
