On PlayStation console (PS5), the town portal hotkey will not work. It was working from launch until yesterday, 10/11. Updated to the new patch 10/12 and the problem persists.
Troubleshooting:
I’ve tried re-binding the skill and I’ve tried removing the tome of town portal and buying a new one. I’ve also restarted the game and my PS5 and still the problem persists. All other hotkeys seem to work totally fine, only the one for casting a town portal doesn’t work.
Please help!
I also have this problem on Nintendo Switch. Only the town portal hotkey. 10/17 after the game has been offline all weekend…

To fix town portal issue please go into a Public game and remap, it is a remap/sync with battle.net issue. I have the same issue but only on my Barbarian he has two “skill” items and I presume the others with this issue have at least one item providng a skill. It is obviously unable to sync the town portal button in Private, but other “skill” items work from hotkey remap. If you removed the tome from your inventory it would count as a remap FYI

The quickest workaround (until the issue is fixed) is to remove the TP tome, rebind while general skill is unavailable, then pick tome up. For me, the issue happened when I had died.
