A lot of players don’t know how this works, so let’s clarify. When you have an affix “Damage Taken Goes to Mana”, it doesn’t prevent damage, nor does it deplete your mana when you take damage. So I bet you’re saying, “Hey, Bodach, how do you pronounce your name… like what even is that? And also, why would I want this affix if it doesn’t even prevent damage?” Well, reader, what the affix actually does is the following:
20% Damage Taken Goes to Mana
You take 100 damage.
20% of 100 is 20.
You just gained 20 mana by taking 100 damage.
Yup, it fills your mana. It’s actually a very good way to keep mana up, or at least supplement mana regen.
