True. I think the weirdest part of these notes is the fact they are buffing Meteorb Sorcs, Trapsins, and Javazons more than MA sins, Necros and Rabies Druids. Why are 3 already viable builds seeing the largest buffs? lol

You must really like to play the same builds over and over for 15+ years.
There’s no valid reason why they shouldn’t make more builds competitive with the current meta.
I agree OP, we will still just see Blizz sorcs that turn into lightning sorcs, other light chars, and hammerdins. Yawn.

That adds to the meta. It will be worth it more to play those builds. Would be nice to see something like summen Druid be good. I see what your saying.
They need to lower the natural resistance of cold and fire immune mobs so it can actually be broken by an infinity or lower res curse. Make cold res immune mobs have 110 cold res instead of 140+.
Then you can have more viable builds without buffing.

i can afford a few infinity’s… i run 100% cold. blizz/orb have no problem farm any area in the game… maybe a bit slower but has not kept me at all!!!

So D3 does it better by continually changing the meta. While keeping the meta miles ahead of the rest. I say no they don’t, what this game needs is what D3 needs and might not ever get. A change that would still have a meta that could be changed from time to time. But a meta that isn’t miles apart from non meta. Where the differences is small somewhere between 5-30%. That 30% is a number that I have read on the D3 forums as far as how far off of the top builds players are willing to allow and still use the less than the best.
dont ever think diablo 3 does anything right… we dont want diablo 2 to ever take a step in that direction

my merc who is equipped with an Ebotd War Pike says other wise… one hits everything in the pit… all i do it tele on top of them and they are dead… so again i will say i can run the whole game with a 100% cold sorc… so if u want to talk about something i cannot do make sure that u know the game plz…
Teleporting on every cold immune and waiting for your Merc to kill it isn’t fun. Lightning doesn’t have to do it, so why should cold and fire?

diablo 2 emphasized the power of the character itself. diablo 3 was and is a fashion show of builds. can you see it? can you see it turning into diablo 3? i havent played this game in about a month now. lets see what happens when they start the ladder.

True but this is the introductory ARPG! After playing Poe i have come to the conclusion that this game is a shell or incomplete ARPG. No true end game just the same runs over and over the meta didn’t change and I don’t have any forum gold I don’t need that in poe and after really thinking about it I have no desire to play this noob ARPG prob ever again! Poe is the successor it does everything better then d2 and d2 mods are clearly better purist ruined this game and didn’t allow for change and the changes we got were not changes just sad examples of why this game is dated and should stay dead we had a chance at the things that made mods great but tbos game is way to dated and the idea of trading on this game is dead to me due to Poe
When you purist graduate from kindergarten arpgs you find Poe! But hey noobs need the same meta for 20 years same runs same basic boring game and you act like your kings of the genre King of the noobs
I mean it’s great that you enjoy that, but it shouldn’t have to be done that way just because someone deals cold or fire damage. Meanwhile lightning characters with infinity can clear the entire game easily with just lightning abilities.
